Truly an amazing video. I remember playing this map a lot in 2011-2012 and feeling happy when I hit 50k. Obviously I could never compete with the absolute gamers mentioned in the video, but this brought me so much nostalgia. Also R.I.P Aehzo. This map reminds me of him ❤

Just wanted to drop in, I actually held the Megapark world record for a few days back when the record first got around 65-70k. We were all beating each others records almost daily and had that weird list we updated so it got hard to keep track of it all lol Miss these days! Wonder what all my boys in the Rise and UNC group chats are doing nowadays. Underclass was such a fun time during skate 3. Seeing the archive channel with a few of my old videos brings back so many good memories!

I don’t know why, but the “___ has joined your Xbox live party” messages on the old clips took me way back and made me so happy. I miss those days and while the video was quite good I think a lot of us who grew up pulling all nighters with our friends on XBL party chat got a nice walk down memory lane with those old clips. So thanks for stroking my monkey brain neuron skate circuit and reminding me of a simpler time too for that sweet sweet nostalgia drip 😎

I remember Geovonni24. Never knew he was doing comp to that degree at the time. His skill was very impressive but as a kid, I was even more impressed by how quick witted some of the roasts he could come up with were. We would all get into a PS3 party and would roast each other but his roasts were on another level lol. Good times :).

Coming from a trickliner/competitive player for maybe 4-6 years and just started playing again , man skate 3 is honestly the best game ive played and knowing how the history is behind it , man u did hell of a job on this video , i got so sad watching this video just because its crazy how good of a game skate 3 was and still is , hurt me till this how attracted everyone just to see it go down a steep hill.

Now, I don't know if this counts as megapark since you can practically do it anywhere, but I remember way back in 2015/2016, people were doing flat trick combos in the parking lot and following them up with the superman glitch jumps, to combo even more. I was never that great but I remember seeing absolutely busted scores from it.

I remember getting ~52k using the diving board method as my PB back in mid-2012 before quitting so it was definitely a thing before 2013.

Yeah that's true about the thing about people either being good at vert or flat (at least for me), my vertical was god awful compared to my skills and flat PR. I remember getting 76k-77k on flat but barely getting a little over 70k on vert.

It's insane to think I now see people landing 50k plus every day lol.

I remember back in the days in skate 2 there was that guy calles methodman and He was a fckn god in hitting These insane lines Absolute Legend!

Another quick tidbit of info as I was friends with a lot of these people who were setting records at the time, along with underclass and rise, there were competitive teams for the game modes S.K.A.T.E and hall of meat along with spotbattle. A big team back in the day was a team called superheroes and many of them used to hold records and we would regularly play against sneakyleroy/muto minimum whatever you know him as and compete for records.
