Been using Gyeon Q2 Tire solely now as my only tire protectant for about a year now it’s great stuff. I have applied with and without heat. I normally apply it and just let it sit for about 15 minutes then wipe any excess with a microfiber. Will be picking some up from you guys once I need to restock.

Gyeon nailed it from the start ! Q2M tire as been out over 2 years now. I live in a tropical climate so it either rain or sun. You do however see a very slight dust when the water was dried after driving in wet conditions. This can be easily clean in your next wash by simply light wipe off or wash with tire express. I got to do a test with Q2M tire and CarPro BlackOut Tire Coating . If you guys don’t beat me to it lol. Great Video guys !

Q2M Tire Express has been released 2 years ago - Q2 Tire is on the market for about 5 years if I'm not mistaking.

Yes that’s correct Q2 tire has been out for more than 2 years My mistake saying (Q2M) . Tire Cleaner and Tire Exprees is the new addition .

After 10 years of detailing as an amateur, I have a state, that if you prepare the tires so well as they did on this movie (well done), then almost any good to average dressing will last 2-3 washes and a month time is not an issue for a such :-) Gyeon is a good one, I still also love Meguiars violet one (how I do not appreciate any other of their colourful products).

That LA’s Totally awesome cleaner works great for the browning, hard to remove stuff just used it about week or so ago, and it was a dollar at the dollar store.

Man, Tires have to be the most hardest to get clean. Like you said, you have to go over them several times which also means you need to use a ton of cleaner, which starts to het expensive. I think the SiO2 protectant can prevent the tire from reaching that very dirty limit due to it's barrier forming quality. The run of the mill tire shine does the exact opposite and the whole viscous circle keeps going around. Spend the time to deep clean each tire, then apply the Gyeon SiO2 tire and that's it. I have actually purchased the SiO2 Tire, but yet to apply it. Just need a day free to be able to get into this. Cool Video. BTW, I don't mind having to heat the tire up with a blow drier either.

Just sharing how we use TIRE. Try using less product. For that size of tire, maybe 5-7 spritzes only...i would normally dab across the tire before i swipe along to get a more even spread..like i would do when im spreading a polish or compound around a working area before i start the polisher.. As for heating up the tires, best way i found to do it is in sections (maybe quarter of a tire at a time), then apply the dressing.. then proceed to the next section.. Gives me smaller working area at a time and enables me to apply the tire dressing while the rubber is still hot.

I use Q2 Tire with every coating or job. On coating jobs I leave it on and then I come back the next day to then level it to give it a gloss between matte and high shine. I do need to work on cleaner the tire better though to get better durability out of it.

Love the channel guys. First si02 tire dressing? car pro perl has been out for many years. dilute at differrnt ratios for interior, tire dressing, exterior plastics. I am a big fan of gyeon products so ill have to try it out next order. keep up the good work.

Perl isn't SiO2 though - it's just "SO" - silicon oxide. That aside though, so far I do prefer Perl to Gyeon Tire - being thinner, it's easier and quicker to apply, and also looks more even. (after it has dried). Also, I don't consider Gyeon Tire to be a "sealant", because in my experience, it comes straight off in the rain. A product which I DO consider a sealant is Optimum Tire Protection & Coating, but it simply doesn't look that good, and is prone to cracking and turning white. Perl is my favourite product to date.

I have found that if you want to have the high shine look on your tires the best way is to after you wash the vehicle and are done with all the tasks that you wish to do park your vehicle apply the dressing and let it sit and dry very thoroughly over night if possible then in the morning before you drive the vehicle check to make sure no runs or excess product is present and like was recommended in the video ever so lightly I mean barely use a old microfiber rag to make sure to get any of the excess dressing and I don’t wipe the tires I dab them or I guess some people might call it blotting but regardless call it what you wish but it has seemed to work well for me but obviously you can’t do this on every customers car that you Encounter this is more for personal vehicle type application sometimes if I end up keeping the car overnight in the shop customer will be picking it up till the next day I can do it but usually for personal and or family vehicle’s. Anyways hope everyone has an amazing day and hopefully you guys are enjoying this beautiful weather that we have had lately.

Ive tried this on all three of our cars and just hated the finish. Like it would never be uniform and aways had to buff the excess because its extremely glossy.

You don’t get any tyre sling on any tyre dressing if you properly degrease the tyre and apply dressing per instructions.

This is very counterintuitive. Rubber shrinks when heated, no such thing as opening the pores. Might be a good product but the application method is questionable at best.

Definitely not into the glazed donut look.. I've had good luck with most anything I've used on my tires by using one simple rule. First on - Last off. Once I'm done drying the car, the first thing I do is coat the tires with whatever product I have - which at the moment is plain old 303 Protectant. Once I'm done with everything else whether it's just some quick detailer and a vacuuming or waxing, wiping the excess off the tires is the very last thing I do. Great review but I'm ok if my tires are dull and dirty after driving in the rain because in all likelihood, the entire car is dirty even with a ceramic or graphene coating.

Not the most economical way to clean tires if your in business as a detailer nuts grab a gallon of megs apc for 18bucks it will give you the same results 😂
