This is the worst MLB Top 100 Rankings I have ever seen and somehow it came from CBS Sports writer Dayn Perry. Yes this dude was paid to make these rankings, and they are so bad. What is your opinion on these rankings?

at 11:40 he just starts to spout bullshit and stuff in which he doesn't know the stats OR what he's talking about. 1. Matt Chapman literally DOUBLED Nolan Arenado in DRS last year and effectively in UZR, dWAR, etc. 2. Matt Chapman has a higher career ops+ than Nolan Arenado, in back to back seasons has put up higher WAR than Nolan ever has (by a good bit), and has much better road stats than Nolan Arenado. (In 2019, Chapman had a .984 ops on the road and Arenado had a .772.) Also, Matt Chapman's best year at the pate, he had an ops+ of 135, Arenado had an ops+ of 133 at his best. There is absolutely NO REASON CHAPMAN IS NOT BETTER THAN ARENADO.

I maybe wouldn't put him at seven, but he's easily the best third baseman in baseball, unless you truly believe the astros then it's bregman. WAR can prove my case. Chapman is a top 10 player and he's only 26. If trout doesn't win the MVP next year, I've got my money on Chapman for sure.
