I'm also from India as a part of an Indian it is very shameful for our market society who charges more for the foreigner the mehandi tatoo maker who charges 500 indian rupee and the barber who charges 600 Indian rupees.....honestly the real price lies 50 Indian rupee for tatoo and 100 for the hair cutting ...be careful and once again it's very shameless 😢😢 If anyone who agree with me please like my comment

Wtf ...₹600 for haircut. It's only ₹50-₹80 for haircut bro ..to be honest everyone who visit to India need local guide. But in northeast India you wouldn't be scammed like that especially the tribal people will never do that...u should visit northeast when you're in India.. RECOMMEND

That heena guy has charged you a lot the real cost for that design is not more then 30 rupees and then also he took you to that saloon who was his friend that heena guy advised him to charge you extra. The hair cut in India at that type of saloon, it doesn't cost more then 100.

I remember I visited Xi’an China last year, there are very few street walking sellers, the price is very honest, around US $1 for a very pretty toy. In general, I paid $2 because the toy is very precise, sellers also excited when they saw I paid . some toy can fly and flash at night. Kids like it so much.

Yr visit to this part of India is an eye-opening experience. The indian sellers' persistence to sell the wares to u is still tolerable, Ken. Ken I recommend visiting the state of Himachal Pradesh. You can go to Dharamshala, Manali, Vashist village, Parvati Valley for good trekking adn nice villages. The temperatures are much cooler up there now that it's summer. Ladakh and Leh in The Himalayas are also very different.

@kenAbroad U were scammed by the henna guy and the Barber.. the henna guy initially quoted 10,20,50 and later shamelessly quoted 1000/-. And when he went to the barber he told the barber to charge minimum 500/- telling him how be scammed with henna for 500/-... Bad experience 😞

You just paid 10 times more to the henna tattoo artist, and 6 times more to the barbar 😂 1000 for hair massage!!!! 😂 hair massage are most of times free or max to half of the total cost of haircut.... those people in barbar shop making fun of you and trying to get more money from you for barbar.... people from tourist location in India like that.... their morals are only constraint to monetary gain.... I blame their upbringing for that

The rooftop restaurants in Paharganj can be really nice. Hundreds of cheap hotels. People from all over the world. Close to train station. Very interesting place, full of life.

for me I really enjoy those places sometimes, of course when the government have enough money they can build a new skyscrapers or other modern buildings, but u can find those kind of buildings in Hong Kong Tokyo Singapore L.A etc. I can imagine the ancient time through those buildings and streets, there r full of sense of life, this is real life of part of people who live in the earth. it's not everyone have a delicate life, but they still work hard for their family, even they don't have a decent clothes and work. that's why I love this kind of places sometimes.

Are you planning to visit varanasi or the Taj mahal? I would like to see how they look now. You should surely visit the NORTH EAST states of India such as SIKKIM and ASSAM. They're very beautiful and you would surely have a very good experience.

U should come to visit my city kolkata (i.e calcutta) which was a British capital in India as well as in Asia for about 160years. U can find lots of British monument and the traditional bengali calture. Kolkata is called the city of joy and the city of palace. It was also the reachest city of Asia about 700 years long till 1900 AD. ❤

Price depends on which saloon you have prefered if you prefer simple or common saloon than they charge 100rs to 150rs and if you prefer good service saloon than they can charge more 4 to 5 dollar

For all tourist I just tell you that Delhi is most overrated city in India. If you really want to experience well in India then sure to go Sikkim, Kerela, ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh and Goa😊

You can Always ask the staff of hotel, taxi drivers or shop keeper about the local prices for small things and then again verify with other people that will save you from getting fleeced on streets.
