The last thing the Z needed to actually be enjoyable to drive was an exhaust system. At some point, someone smashed the T-top, stole the sound system, and cut the cat off this poor Z31. The straight pipe sound under the car resonated so bad it was legitimately undrivable. Now that the car is more reliable than ever and looks pretty damn good too, the exhaust was holding me back from driving it more. It was starting to get pretty cold but I fabbed up a quick exhaust with a random 2.5" muffler I had laying around and some piping from the local auto parts store. It turned out to be a solid setup, the car sounds deep and performancey but also pretty quiet. Now we will see how she does with daily driver status this winter in Hellinois.
