But men are driven by physical attraction and sexual gratification/validation more so than women as a means to reproduce and this is simulated through the consumption of porn. On the other hand women crave status and social, emotional validation driven by their natural instinct to achieve safety and security which is simulated through social media. Both porn and social media twist and exploit instincts and characteristics that are natural and beautiful in humans and very important to their ability to love, bond, and survive together. Perverting these instincts into something very unnatural that causes self destruction and makes them completely incapable of loving and bonding.

What worked for me is I gave myself an ultimatum. Do I want to keep watching porn and live an unfulfilling life? Or do I want to improve myself in every way possible and stop wasting time? Pretty easy choice to make. Hard to apply. Just keep yourself busy with work and hitting the gym, and set a goal of 1 month no porn. Once you achieve that it will get easier (I promise). You will fail to reach that 30-day mark countless times, just gotta identify what triggered you to do so and eliminate those triggers. For example, I had to delete all social media since they were triggers for me. P.s. I still have "alone time" about once a week. Masturbation is a normal thing to do. Just don't use any visual stimulation and you should be alright. Become the man you want to be. You got that!

I feel the complete same. Even when I look at porn I don't look at the hardcore shit. I always looked for romantic scenes. And I think this means that it's not even really about sex.
