Wanted to share my thoughts on the ancient Mega Evolution trainer in Kalos! Do y'all think they'll be relevant in Legends Z-A or you think Gamefreak long forgot about them?
I hope they do like Legends Arceus and get a bunch of side quest with lore and in the post game you get one side quest for each mega stone. That would be a great move for gamefreak to do, even more if mega don't get back in other game.
That could certainly be the case! I wonder if we'll be playing an original character or if we'll play as the XY playable characters going back in time for some reason similar to the first Legends game.
If that's the case, then that sounds like korrina's ancestors are the villain, which i think is kinda cool. Like, your character is the first to mega evolve, but they take the credit lol.
Wild take: How come almost all "Battle Enhancers" (Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Dynamax, Terastal) are largely correlated with extraterrestrial objects or subjects ? Is it likely that this "battle legend" will have a group of "exogenous fighters" which share unique forms in each technique ?
TTAR WHERE IS EXTREME WE NEED TO SEE THAT LEON FIGHT We know it means a lot to you and it means a lot to us too so please let us see that peak leon fight
So in the legends arceus game there’s 2 clans based off the versions (diamond and pearl clan) along with the galaxy team. Well in this game there could be 2 clans based off the 2 versions as well so the X clan and the Y clan. Each clan would have their own respective Pokémon that are similar to the nobles in the other games but they are able to mega evolve. However their mega evolution is unstable and they can’t be called upon at will. This is where the new galaxy team comes to play. They figure out a way to harness mega evolution via stones which could explain why only certain Pokémon have the ability to mega evolve because during that time period only the ones they found to mega evolve; they made the stones for. It could also explain why charizard for instance has an X and a Y form along with Mewtwo because either both clans have their own charizard and Mewtwo or depending on the end game whatever clan you choose to support you make a mega stone for their respective clan.
Id say Rayquaza is a more natural mega and most likely the first one ever. Its like when the legendary pokemon unleashed its true power. Like a hoopa unbound or primal reversion thing. But thats a pokemon thats already super powerful and a super ancient pokemon. Its practically a deity in the eyes of the people of old. However Lucario on the other hand may just be the first pokemon to ever emulate it. So the real first mega evolution to be used.
Hmm with these talk about Leon, and with Gurkinn and Mustard’s eyebrow similarities, could we have ancestors of Leon with a mega Charizard vs mustard/gurkinn with a mega lucario in the past? 🤔🤔
I think synchronisation will be the theme of Z-A. Think of the synchro-machine & battle bond both are themed around synchronisation between trainer and Pokemon. Also in the trailer you follow Pokemon running around luminous city. I think we’ll be playing either as a group of Pokemon or that they are reworking how the bond between trainer and Pokemon works
First of all, tower of mastery is mastering the bond between trainer and pokemon. Rayquaza doesn't count, and is half the time thought of as a Primal. Gerkin is more like Mustard, than Leon. We have already suggested that Riley's PLA ancestor was going to be the first mega trainer...
Plot twist: we are the first mega evolution user. If they decide to use the legends arceus idea again and bring someone from the future it could become a time paradox. We create mega evolution for us to use in the future. And our descendants help guide us
