I'm going to analyze the episode where Rory skips school to see Jess in New York and ends up missing Lorelai's graduation. I'll be talking about what that trip means between Rory and Jess and also Rory's conversation to Lorelai after her graduation.
As a counsellor who specializes in relationships and breakup recovery, I will be analyzing their relationship dynamics and communication styles with my counselling insight. I think she had no blame that the road was closed. Yes she had not planned it as it was triggered by getting a call from Jess. She did not know how long it would take on the bus long distance

Thank you for your suggestion, this has been a highly requested video. I'm actually analyzing the series in order as my analysis may build on top of each other so it'll be a little while until I get to this particular fight, however, it will happen! 😊

One potential plothole in this scene that I've JUST thought of- Did Emily and Richard not expect Rory to be at the graduation? Where was the same freak-out from Emily that occurred the night of Rory's dance? You would think Emily and Richard would have called Chilton asking if Rory got on the bus.

I don’t think Dean knew that Rory went to New York to see Jess. It was out of character for Rory to go see Jess and she definitely didn’t think it through, seeking as though she didn’t check to see if the bus would take longer or shorter to get back. She didn’t mean to miss Lorelei’s graduation and felt horrible for missing it, she probably felt her punishment for herself was justified in taking away all her favorite things. It’s good that she felt bad for missing it but she already punished herself far harder than Lorelei ever would have

It is one of my favorite episodes, i always loved the connection Rory abd Jess had on this day and always thought that this is how their relationship should be. Also it was very Intresting and so out of character for Rory to skip school to go see Jess, something she would never do for Dean, it showef how much she cared about jess even before she admitted it to herself. ( Also one of my favorite moment's of this episode is the prouf look of Emily and Richard when Lorelai is graduating 🥺) Thank u for this video ♥️

Lorelai committed that kind of misdeeds too; like leaving her parents home and security while having the heavy responsibility of caring for a one month baby, while also leaving school. As an adult, she engaged for marriage and suddenly deciding against it few days before wedding. Also not being quite sure of accepting one million dollars from her grandmother for Rory, and then feeling relieved when grandma decided not to grant the money. Also, suddenly confessing Christopher her love for him and her back of her mind hope to marry him, all while Christopher´girlfriend Sherry was just a few yards away; even if Sherry could not hear it, it was thoughtless and inappropriate.

I can't blame Rory the bus was delayed because there was an accident on the motorway and the driver had to wait for him to be told when he could leave. Yes she should not have walked out of school that was not planned it was a reflex from hearing from Jess and he was ok.
