For the high end, we visited the relatively new Atelier Crenn, the two-Michelin-starred restaurant of chef Dominique Crenn. Crenn grew up in France, but her culinary training has taken her all around the world, and those influences show. She also had the added benefit of parents who loved good food, and who inspired her to be relentlessly creative-her menus, as you’ll see, are delivered in the form of a poem

I could watch these videos about AC all day. I only wish they'd leave the names of each dish on the screen long enough to read them. Longer videos, that must be the lesson here. (As usual, way to go, Chef!)

OMG !! Have you seen how fast they dropped the amuse bouche in their mouth ??? Gluttony americans ! You must analyze what you eat before swallowing ! The texture, the taste, the color, the way it's been served, the wine you drink with etc etc etc... You will not analyze anything if you swallow so fast ! Gastronomic cuisine is more an intellectual occupation than a way to get replete. I saw Madame Crenn on german TV arte and i rahter like how she works.
