I’m not that guy anymore Dave I just change the carbs I really don’t think I have payed more then $25. Dollars for a Law Mower carb I’m hoping to find a new Carb for my Crafts left blower . The best thing my Father thought me way when your done mowing shut the fuel valve and start it and let it run out of gas so the fuel doesn’t varnish the in side of you card having this crappy gas just sit in side your carb as you said in this video all we have is crap gas I hope I can find the carb I need as cheap as you did keep this video up it just might save some one the time and money of dropping it off at a Lawn Mower repair shop great video Mr. Dave
When you said a time to cut the carbs. I was about to get worried. I was sitting here eating carbs while watching this video and was afraid my conscience was going to start bothering me! HAHAHAHAHA
If your having an idle surge problem after the carb is repaired try a governor spring. A weak governor spring can also cause surging. And if you have an ultrasonic case cleaner they're great for cleaning hard to get to areas of the carburetor. Just take the bowl and float out and dunk it in a leave it go for a bit and it should be clean enough. Blow it out with some compressed air and reassemble.
My last push mower cost me 22 dollars because it wouldn’t start. I ordered a new carb and slapped it on and been using it for a couple years. They don’t make them like they used to for sure.
