A few hours ago, a Nintendo Direct took place that solely covered more information about Splatoon 3. We got a look at some more new Splatoon 3 specials, stages and even idols. Even though the direct took place before sunrise in my time zone, I decided to watch the direct with my chat live on RU-vid. In addition to the Splatoon 3 reaction, we had also done some Splatoon 3 speculation and discussion before and after the direct occurred. After watching the direct, we gained a lot of reasons why Splatoon 3 should’ve been a sequel instead of more content packed just packed into Splatoon 2. Also, if you haven’t noticed, NILS Statue can be seen in the backround of Hammerhead Bridge, which basically means that it’s under construction because Nils Statue and Pearl destroyed it accidentally during the Final battle.

I love Frye the most but Big Man and Shiver are definately getting more love amongst the 3. I was sitting with 5 other people while reacting and they definately levitated between the other two more. She got the short end of the stick getting paper though :,)

You said a couple months, it releases in less than a month from now. Anyway, my favourite part might’ve had to be the reveal of the new lobby. Instead of a place you just go in and chose what match your playing, it’s a big building you can walk freely in that has everything! You have the place where you choose what kind of match you want to play, the testing range, the locker room, that settings panel, and I’m pretty sure the Shoal is in there as well. It’s just kinda cool to have all of that stuff in one space where you can walk around freely in.

ok but definitive proof for why scissors best: Scissors = made of metal. Heat up metal enough, it gets really hot. Hot metal cut things. You've seen thousand degree knife videos, you know how it works. It's fool proof, rock does not necessarily mean obsidian or stupidly strong rock, thus thousand degree scissors can likely beat basic rock. Foolproof logic right there.

5:20-5:29 It’s so hilarious, but also satisfying and refreshing to see that he went for Frye first. And made a big deal about her instead of making fun of her forehead or her whole appearance. He was like “FRYE OMG! Yeah Shiver is good too” and I love that Yeah, I know he made that joke about Frye having the “Pearl forehead” at 6:29 about that was it, he still really liked Frye, which I did really satisfying and refreshing, like I said before.

Personally... Paper. Many people play rock to counter the less common scisssors, however, scissors is still common in some places so often youll get rock vs rock or rock vs scissors, but due to the large population of rock players, paper gives you the highest chance of winning I dont know, im making this up, but this is my rock paper scissors experience

Frye does it for me. I love how feisty and energetic she is. Also... I'm sorry but I'm going for team Rock too: It's tough, sturdy and can break the living daylights out of scissors. That and the worst that paper can do is just wrap around it. CANNOT BE BROKEN! Though if we lose that may come back to trip me up.

Waking up at 6am was definitely a pain...but it paid off for me. I immediately woke up as soon as I saw maps from Splatoon 1. I never played Splatoon 1, so I'm really happy about getting the chance to play some fan favorite maps.

Ngl salmon run looks so fun now, it seems like the big shot leaves its cannon for the reast of the wave after you kill it, so you can shoot golden eggs to your team mates with them, and the fish stick leaves its stick, meaning you can use them to get away from enemys

Btw if you have Splatoon 2 on your switch it keeps ur level and I think money and you get 3 gold Sheldon tickets so you can get any weapon with the ticket
