He was full charge jumping into the air and two pumping me while I was flying. Never seen anything so effective against Pharah

The how to counter every tank in OW2 is 100% accurate right now, zens discord orb is a tank buster and just OP. It's why i love playing zen alot.

Remember, if it's on the Steam Deck then it counters your opponent. Definitely, no contest. That is the best counter.

I'm really glad the next 2 heroes are Supports. As much as I love how busted Supports are right now, since I'm a Support player, I understand how frustrating it can be to play against any role that's so broken. Hopefully, the next 2 heroes bring in some interesting mechanics so they can tune the broken Supports down a bit.

I've been saying it for months, discord orb shouldn't be nerfed, it should be reworked. How I see it working is: Lower DMG boost down to 10% or less. Heal 20-30% of the damage done on an enemy with an orb attached. This way the orb can still give a slight advantage in fights and prioritize specific targets for your team to shoot at, also increasing Zen's healing output, but isn't as oppressive to fight against, especially for tanks.

I really adore how much love and attention Flats has been getting over the course of this game. I see him as the unofficial symbol of the OW Community

4:00 as a support main, I wouldn't mind supports getting nerfed if we didn't get one shot or two shot by half the DPS characters

ML7 is an example of how good support is. Support is stronger the more coordinated the team is because support does what it’s called. They support the team which enhances their capabilities. For example Ana sleep allows ult cancels and picks. Her nano can save allies, enable plays, or enhance ults. The reason why support is weak in low elo is because there’s far less coordination, people focus too much on the fight ahead of them and don’t help support against flanks quickly enough, and don’t adjust their play styles to supports (like not maintaining line of sight with Ana forcing Ana to play much closer to fight to heal). Support is the role with most utility making them really strong but obviously lack durability and dps of other two roles to compensate for that. Imagine how op Ana would be if she could headshot, she would fill both support and sniper dps role but instead she takes 3 shots to kill squishy if they get no healing. Also for me who has terrible aim, support is really good as most support relies less on mechanical skills and more game sense and awareness which I’m much better at. Random hot take: Brig is a really good overtime hero in low elo because enemy is forced to stay near cart so you can easily get inspire, evasive heroes like Lucio, Moira, and tracer suddenly not evasive when you have a wide range flail causing guaranteed damage if they stay near cart, and you can focus on survival instead of healing or damage since inspire is a large aoe heal and brig’s attack and abilities require no aim when 5m of enemies. Also people in low elo suddenly lose their aim in 5v5 overtime. Brig’s ult is really good in taking space with team which if enemy needs to stay on cart this can be substantial since they now have to take on the good amount of healing from brig ult that allows the team to play aggressive and push enemy off cart.

As someone who plays a lot of Moira, yeah actually she does body cas pretty consistently, and unlike zen and Ana, even if cas is close enough to stick she can still escape as fade deletes it… but yeah in general there isn’t much point in fighting cas as a support unless you have to anyway so it’s kinda moot

Moira needs some kind of utility, like allow her to consume resources in order to charge her orbs, which will give them enhanced effects. For damage orb it could apply a stacking damage debuff to the enemy, a stack applied per tick of damage dealt up to a maximum amount to let’s say, 30% damage debuff for a short period of time. For healing orb, maybe have her enhanced orb apply the same effect as Ana’s biotic granade when thrown on allies, where it increases the amount of healing received by allies. Likewise, for her ult, maybe change it so that if you just ult and don’t press anything, you will do damage and healing like how she does it atm, however, give her the option to choose what type of energy she can channel with the enhanced effects of the orbs but on the ult itself. For example, if using primary fire (or damage), have her necrotic energy completely corrupt the biotic energy, dealing slightly increased damage while also applying a stack of damage debuff on enemies per damage tick and give allies increased healing if using biotic energy completely, the downside would be that if she channels a specific type of energy, she wouldn’t have the benefits of the other, meaning that if she decided to use damage and apply debuff on enemies, she wouldn’t be able to heal allies and if she wanted to heal allies, she wouldn’t be able to damage enemies. Also maybe give her primary fire (or damage) deal percentage damage and apply a low damage debuff for a short time, that would allow her to defend herself if she’s being overwhelmed by a flank or if someone is diving her, it would also change the way she damages enemies as it would be percentage health, which would be useful against tanks or something, just throwing it out there for the sake of it. Also important to point out that she wouldn’t be able to apply stacks of damage debuff on multiple enemies while using her primary fire (damage) as she would only be able to weaken a single enemy, and if she changed her target and started to apply stacks on another enemy, the stacks applied on the previous enemy would be completely cleared. This is an idea I came up with a while back, it may sound crazy but to me it really makes sense, since Moira is all about taking the life out of enemies, *weakening* them, and using it to restore her allies. That and also giving her another useful way of using her resources other than strictly saving them for heals only is something that would make her more fun to play in my opinion. Moira is just such a fun hero to play, but unfortunately since she doesn’t have any utility other than big aoe heals and decent damage, she is outclassed by other supports that do have utilities or unique abilities, specially in the high ranks. Moira is the only support without any utility, and I think that they could’ve used the concept used in the beta (the weakened effect) and work around it a bit. Also important to note that if her orbs are given enhanced effects, their damage/healing would need to be decreased, and I think this would fix the dps Moira issues. Moira is a support, she’s not meant to do damage anyway, unfortunately that’s how they decided to go with it, but the character is just so far from the role is really annoying tbh. 🤦

i literally picked phara against a cass before as i noticed they COULD NOT aim if they had to aim upwards. Sometimes it's just noticing what the enemy is doing/how they're playing

Yeah I'm a support main, and increasingly often lately I'll swap to Zen if I can tell the enemy tank is the problem. It's very much a "if I can't have fun, neither can you" move. And it works disgustingly well. Discord Orb is definitely too strong for its ease of use. That said, its ability to punish/limit over-aggression is important. The community has come up with some great suggestions on ways to try to balance Discord Orb (examples: cooldown on LoS break, or not buffing non-Zen damage AS MUCH, and many more I'm sure). Also lol at the Hog player who thinks Mercy pre-season 3 was OP. Then again, much of what he said lacked awareness so at least he was consistent in that. Kiriko, with her current kit, will always be at least "good". As long as antinade exists, suzu is essential to ensure that much of the tank roster can even exist in a 5v5 environment. Junkerqueen may hate enemy suzu, but she also needs friendly suzu. JQ needs help, imo.

Add slow effect to moira orbs. Makes her utility as support more useful. But the trade off is her slow effect is added to heal orbs

4:17 - there are very few situations where it makes sense to get ride of a mechanic completely. There are much better ways to balance mercy than removing one of her 3 abilities. Rez is honestly pretty niche once you're past gold and should only be used when you can 100% garuntee that you, the person you are rezing, and the rest of your team won't unnecessarily die in the meantime, so I don't see a need to change that. Her movement is incredibly easy to tweak, as seen in season 3. It's also the main draw of the character. Her damage boost is definitely an issue that makes playing tank much less fun. It could either be reduced to 20%ish, or there could be some other rework on it (maybe a cool down?). All that being said, he didn't even address the main issue rn. When I'm playing mercy, I can valk while the team is at half health and heal the whole team at 90hp/s. It's incredibly powerful and lasts a really long time.

So I play a lot of sol and I find after my first 2 or 4 shots I helix. Depending on travel time I can land a few more hits and secure the kill with the rocket. Holding it can lead to a few more trades than outright duels won in my experience. If you moria into a cass that can actually click you then you will have a bad day. In gold it won't be to much of an issue but climbing to play or higher moria sent to deal with Cass is going to be you feeding him regularly.

Esperança is a cool map and all, but I really love Esperanka. Truly the map of all time

Thing with mercy is that her kit makes it so shes either busted or she sucks. Thats why I dont think she deserves a nerf, especially cause she only thrived because souj was strong. But I really think a rework is in order. Many mercy players have been asking for res to be subtituted with something much less strong for a while now.

My hot take for Moira is to give her separate cooldowns for heal orb and damage orb, and make them independent of each other. That way dps orb-only Moira's are more noticeable and she doesn't have to sacrifice burst heals to throw damage orb.
