As one of your regular female viewers, i really love this video. I wish more women loved or understood my love of fishing and you were so nice to include them. They’re hooked for life for sure and you were probably the highlight of what i assume was a bachelorette party trip. More videos of random people reeling in your fish and falling in love with fishing!!!
Matthew, you have a real talent in teaching and supervising new fisherman. 4 Women who admitted to no experience and yet look at all the fun and fish they caught. I know you are cutting back on your trips, but Matthew, you have a real gift with people so don't quit altogether, just cut back as needed for time. I was thinking the same. Not to sound all mushy and sentimental, but I found it kind of heartwarming, a real genuine innocent joy you don't see in these days of "sophistication."
My hat if off to you for opening up the amazing world of sport fishing to these enthusiastic novice anglers. The world can always use more people who appreciate how much fishing has to offer. Fantastic vid !
My wife was everywhere between giggling and ROFL at the gal's excitement and reactions when the fish were biting. I reminded her that was exactly how she sounded (and still does) when she hooks something (other than catfish) 😂 Looks like they all had a great time!!! Definitely a fun video!!!
First time viewer....what a GREAT video! If you were not sure in the past, watching you work with these ladies, anyone can see you were born to do this! Encouraging, instructing, celebrating.....just a joy to watch!

I agree with some of the other comments. This was a joy to watch! This might be my favorite video so far! That joy of hearing people catch fish for the first time (especially on a great day) is priceless!
As a coach myself, I gotta say you did a great job with those ladies! They had a great time and it seemed like you did as well. Caught some great fish, made some reel memories for those ladies! Well done!
Memory: I love your previous video of family on the beach. It triggered one of many great memories of my dad. My father was a lifelong fishing devotee. Back about 1950, he took mother, my twin brothers, Princess (shepherd) and me from our cottage in Oak Bluffs to Menemsha harbor to fish off the jetty and swim off the beach. We were using hand lines (olive green military surplus heavy twine on H frame) with a dual flounder spreader. Dad was cutting squid and setting hooks while we 3 were flinging our lines off the jetty. We were pulling in two 'keeper' flounder per toss. Dad was hoping to wet a line of his own but we were landing fish as fast as he could bait the hooks. I know he was 'in his glory' with his boys doing what he loved. He finally decided that I was old enough to bait the hooks and delegated responsibility to me, no directions needed, Dad simply handed me the knife.
Love to see the women, especially first timers, have a great time and enjoy surf fishing. Great for them and spouses who will have more opportunities to go themselves now that the wives like it. WIN WIN !! Enjoyable video.
I know you’re not doing trips much anymore but it was videos like this that made me hit the subscribe button. This was so much fun to watch. Seeing you teach them how to fish and hearing them laugh throughout the video was awesome.

Great video! One of your best. I know your channel is growing and I know how much fun you have with Brant and Ron but I truly believe some of your content in the future should include at least a few guided trips such as this one. A few like this one mixed in with some of your collaborations I think would really make an impact on your growth, just from the standpoint of exposure! And then you could choose the time you want to curtail the guided trips completely. Hope you didn't mind me expressing this. Blessings!

WOW....I'm 69 and have been fishing fresh and salt water all my life. I had almost as much fun watching these ladies catch fish as they did. GREAT VIDEO....NICE JOB.
Awesome video. We'll be on Orange Beach in less than a month and this was video h as a lot of helpful pointers for those of us who will be doing it for the first time. We're not green horns by any means living in rural Midwest (Kansas/Missouri) fishing is just part of the culture but the surf and it's species will be different than we're used to. I've watched 100's of videos of your's, Brants and other guys just learning but the perspective of walking these ladies through step by step was extremely helpful. So excited to see what we reel in!!!
That was a fantastic show with those ladies fishing, might want to keep making some shows with ladies, I couldn’t keep from grinning at them fishing it was fun.
