They Finally Fixed the Bugs in Phasmophobia! Let's Test It 

Insym - Talks about the odds of pulling two High Priestess cards. Me - My teammate and I once pulled Hanged Man back to back. Map was Willow, I pulled Hanged Man, immediately started laughing about it and he says "I got you with the High Priestess" and immediately pulled another Hanged Man and died too.

A perfect game SHOULD require a ghost photo BUT you should also be able to DELETE photos from your journal. This removes the pressure of having to nail a perfect photo on the first attempt

The "crucifix sometimes doesn't work" bug is still happening to me occasionally. I had 2x tier 2 crucifixes in the maple lodge cabin downstairs covering the whole room. While I was standing outside the cabin doors, the ghost appeared practically right on top of one of the crucifixes and started hunting (not a cursed hunt).

I don't know if this is common knowledge but the ghost doesn't need to see you in front of it. When you're behind the ghost it still sees you. I learned the hard way during the "tag you're it" challenge

I think to fix the interaction photo problem, they should make it so the upgraded cameras allow you to delete photos you dont want to keep. They are digital cameras right? Why not let us retake a photo. For the tier 1 it makes sense since it prints a physical photo so you cant delete it

My favourite moment with an Onryo is the time I got one in the chapel on Sunny Meadows and as soon as me and my friends entered it blew 3 candles and hunted immediately and one of us died and we all thought it was a demon considering the instahunt but no we were just super unlucky

They should add a extra slot for a ghost photo in the album thing and it would be required for perfect investigation and it cant be filled with anything else

Something else crazy about salt photos - while playing in multiplayer, different people can take pictures of the same disturbed salt and it will count as different photos. I usually play with two other people and we can get 9 salt photos from the same three salt.

The Onryo doesn't hunt "immediately" after blowing out that 3rd candle. There's usually a delay of 1 to 5 seconds, which is more than enough time for the ghost to walk out of range of the crucifix.

some version of the dots hunt bug would've been amazing as a goryo hidden ability, but man am i glad to see it's fixed

Just had 3 great bugs yesterday. Watched a friend sitting outside camp wood have the door literally open and the ghost walk out and kill him, Crucifix burn on truck wall while on Edgefield, and a run where the ghost never spawned(had no room, no activity, no temp changes, no hunts) on nightmare Tangelwood.

54:04 another way to rule out wraith / phantom / banshee , is drop an emf reader at your feet between u and the ghost room (on the same floor) put some motion sensors , if they get triggered and u get an emf reading without a ghost event , it's one of those guys , u can rule out everything else besides mimic if u get ghost orbs. the reverse is also true if you sit there for 5 mins and no emf reading and no motion sensor being triggered , u can rule out wraith / phantom / banshee

I think the "perfect game" bonus needs to be removed entirely and replaced with a "performance" bonus. Think of it like this: you need 10 three-star photos, the bone, all optional objectives, and the correct ghost type to get the current perfect game bonus, and missing even a single one of these makes you lose all that extra money. This kind of all-or-nothing design is incredibly unengaging because it promotes a boring and safe meta, aka a photo of the cursed possession, a photo of the bone, and the rest is all disturbed salt. In my opinion, a healthier solution would be to take every requirement for a perfect game and give them a value (e.g. a value of 1 for a one-star photo, a value of 2 for a two-star, a value of 3 for a three-star, a value of 3 for side objectives, a value of 1-3 for the bone increasing depending on map size). When the game calculates the performance bonus, it totals the value of all your completed objectives and then gives you a performance bonus based on what that value was - if you ignored side objectives, your performance bonus is nothing; if you get a "perfect game", the performance bonus multiplier is set to the current perfect game multiplier; values in-between the best and worst possible performance bonus gradually increases the multiplier depending on how many bonuses you got. This would mean that getting a single two-star photo is only a minor inconvenience rather than a game ruining problem, which encourages people to try and take more interesting and riskier photos. Worst case scenario, you lose 1 or 2 from your total value and your performance bonus takes a light hit. Best case scenario, you get a more valuable photograph than you would've tried to otherwise take and end up with more money than you were expecting. Unless Phasmo's code is SO SPAGHETTI that this would be impossible to implement without a major rewrite of a bunch of things, I don't anticipate this being a particularly difficult change to make. EDIT: Furthermore, you could have this tie in to the improved photograph system they've been mentioning. Imagine if tier 1 photo cams can only take a maximum of one-star photos, tier 2 a max of two-star, and tier 3 a max of three-star photos. That would create a natural and meaningful progression as you get better and better equipment, because now you can get closer and closer to the max possible performance bonus.

It is a 0.04% chance to get 2 high priestesses as an fyi, so it is very stupid that they don't stack

Totally with you on the photos. Got a one star salt photo while getting pics of foot prints. It didn't register the fully in frame foot print at all, but the salt in the upper corner, it got that. Wont even try for ghost photos unless the picture slots are completely filled. Not worth getting a one or two star interaction photo when the ghost is fully in frame. You really do have to do the safest photos if you want perfect. So salt piles and candles are really the only things I take pictures of at this point.

4:53 Tbh, getting perfect games is already hard tbh with the current Photo (S)Cam system, i had countless times where i get a 1-2 star photo when i clearly was really close to the target

The photo rant at about 30 minutes in is very relatable, but not when you’re playing with your new friends and any small inconvenience is 3 photo slots taken up by the ceiling and maybe 4 for the floor.

Still get the radio bug in multiplayer constantly, which is by far the most annoying one (especially on big maps)

I also had that. Onryo had blown out a candle with a crucifix underneath it and it hunted. But it was like a little bit off like as it was with insym and it started the hunt in the other direction then the crucifix was, when you see it from the candle. So maybe the range of both is the same and it hunted at like maximum range.

One thing you're still mistaken about : a female singing ghost event is only "Ring around the rosie" and NOT the humming ones, which are just random ghost sounds. You can ask Psycho or your other friends for confirmation. It makes sense when you think of male ghosts having only one sound for their singing ghost event : it's the same for female ghosts. Whenever I hear Insym talk about photos, it just feels like he's saying, "Phasmo should do photos like This is a Ghost". Which is a sentiment I agree with.

I think the reason that some people are having trouble understanding what you mean with Oni is how you tend to phrase it. When you say it "blinks more" you know you mean that it is blinking INTO view meaning it's visible more often than not, however due to the way you've been phrasing it what you are saying can be interpreted as the exact opposite.

You should make a guide book for ghosts cause it’s kinda hard to remember their traits when playing nightmare.

I don't know whether the chances for the cards have been altered but I pulled 2 Hanged Man and 2 Priestesses from the same deck. Both Hanged Man were Jokers. Is it rare or is it a normal occurrence?

No fix for used crucifix turning off all lights, no fix for movements issue when crouching with some items, like T3 smudge sticks, still some bugged photos, crucifix not working ...etc.

Well we played a few hours ago in pfasmo and we had an interesting ghost. It hated fire, it blew out candles and lighters as crazy, it even blew 2 candles at the same time. And it was also much more active since we brought candles in their room. Onryo? HANTU!

4 hours ago I did a cursed hunt aand i couldnt hear the ghost i thought something would glitch and hunt never happend but when i get out of hiding spot he killed me. also my lighter doesnt blink it was like no hunt at all

Insym I'm requesting, please play the game "Voices of the void" it's a horror game that where you have job and by the gameplay you will ever feel like on liminal spaces but not a backroom game just try and play!

I had a situation where I smudged the ghost and then hid (Ridgeview, the hiding spot in the closet on the right side of the map) but he still approached me there and I died. How can I explain it? (I had only smudge and lighter in my EQ, no head gear + the ghost wasn’t a Deo).

just an fyi, im not trying to vent here or rant about bugs, but.. recently with all the new fixes (which ARE GREAT BTW!) i've been getting a new? weird black screen bug whenever any ghost hunts right on top of my player location and insta kills me.. the bug that follows is a black screen and i assume respawn in the truck because i can hear the radio guy. the only way to get around it is force close the game and restart.. in multiplayer it does the same, but the other player(s) survive the hunt EVEN THOUGH they've been killed, what happens is, they get the full investigation money. has anyone else gotten this weird bug?

The reason Mimic is disliked so much, at least for me, is because it's so frustrating to look for red herring evidence, especially if it's Onryo vs Mimic, since both can be hard to track down (Onryo with limited time candles that you have to babysit and Mimic that can refuse to give out uv evidence). After item update both are better to find out, but still. I'd wish Onryo would get something more as an ability - maybe, since it's a soul stealing ghost, it could get more orbs in room the more players it kills? It would fit nicely with its candle per kill ability (kinda like a power meter). Hantu vs Mimic can also be frustrating if you have to force hunt, because Mimic refuses to talk. But, Mimic is more interesting the less given evidence you have (to the point that it is actually cool in 0 evidence). And about your Paramic collision - I wasn't aware that t2 Paramic does that as well (never encountered it with t3 one and I rarely use others), but I know that Tarot Cards, all Tripods and t3 Incense have those issues as well (where you go diagonally if you crouch with them).

THE PLOT ARMOR! How did you survive!

What would you think about a setting that let's you force a certain ghost as practice? It gives no player experience but atleast you can learn each ghosts abilities. Or force peices of evidence. Like I want to play a round where the ghost is for sure to have emf, or a round where dots is already ruled out

Can someone explain the snowmen in the map? Do they do anything or am I supposed to collect them?

Mimic is the worst ghost in the game because it's every ghost in the game, but it's also none. Also, having orbs as an evidence on a full evidence run still means you need to check for the other mimic evidences if you've got some of them. It's just an extra step, meanwhile it could be posing as demon and eat you while you're trying to verify the spirit box or something.

LoL, they definitely not corrected bugs at least in multiplayer, i just played a few investigations with friends and had multiple where we just had missing equipment or just appeared for one member or had a straight up fucked ghost, had a the twins which acted like a banshee just focusing me and ignoring the rest, i entered the door and he threw multiple shoes at me and was making paranormal noises like myling kkk
