Ignoring how lie detectors aren't exactly an example of foolproof technology, not being willing to take one is such a self report Ok y'all, just so we're all on the same page, you should not take polygraphs as a serious way to tell if someone is lying or not. This is a silly TV show where the producers almost certainly already knew the answers to each question so they most likely brought the polygraph on to intimidate the boys into telling hard truths that they normally would lack either the courage or respect for their partner to tell. That being said, and speaking of self reporting, I CANNOT believe that Shaun thought it was a good idea to go on national television with his side chick. Even if his current GF didn't show up how the HELL was he going to explain his way out of being on "Mr. Awesome" with his "crazy ex-girlfriend".

He lied during the polygraph about it and because he was afraid of being found out later, he owned up to it. He wasn't honest or faithful to his girlfriend haha truly a MatsuFLEX that he got away with that.

They take full liability especially if she's the only doctor on site, so it's probably a contractional thing to send them to the hospital no matter what. Now, do I think dude knew that and used it? I have fainting spells regularly and have gotten really hurt because you don't just casually fall back on the bed, you drop like rocks straight down. Maybe this sounds crazy but I almost wonder if (assuming any of this is even real lol) the "anxious" guy (I forgot his name) started acting like he was gonna hurt himself/others. He seems like the type to start threatening stuff like that. Ambulance could've been called to transport him to a ward, and when the psych is talking to his gf she for some reason doesnt mention the fainting and says stuff like "he needed a time out, he wasn't in a fit state" etc. which is something that fits a lot more in my scenario than if he had actually fainted. I think once he came back they just asked him to pretend to faint with the psych with him (because it looked sooo fake) and they did ADR because they hadn't really planned out how the lady was supposed to react to his fainting yet, or they just used a body double for her.

I work at a law office and the polygraphs we've had done got a report a couple weeks after the appointment. I don't think there have ever been any "results" given.

Hello! I did a mastets degree in criminology, and part of that was i was a test subject for the students taking their final exam in lie detectors. We had to phone in a bo*b threat (we knew it was fake but we still had to DO the call to be able to complete the polygraph test). And it took about 15/30 mins to analyse the results after the test finished. They were doing it as they went along and then took the time at the end to confirm their findings. So it doesnt need to be sent anywhere, but it can take a little while to check rather than instantly 😊
