The opening was extremely validating tbh. I got the PM on reddit like "hi you're a longtime user, you can buy in early" and immediately went "I know how this garbage heap is run, I'll pass".
Realistically all fast food restaurants heavily depend on their employees for quality. If the store has good employees and a manager (or a few) then the quality of the food is just going to be a lot better. If the management and employees are bad... the food will suck. Quality is almost 100% related to overall management and their standards. It's more about finding the right fast food store than anything else.
Fr. Everyone loves McDonalds' fries but I've had mostly bad experiences with them, when they weren't outright bad, they were just overwhelmingly mediocre.
agree. i got a main mcdonalds i go to because they rarely ever get my order wrong. im very confident that i will get everythinbg i ordered correctly and hot. every other location ive gotten my order wrong or missed items.
@@Firnienarya I used to do the same but for a taco bell. I also tried to only go when a certain person was on duty cooking. He just put so much more effort into making the food. A well made Crunchwrap verse a lazy one is a world of difference. It's not even good if made poorly
McDonald's fries are unironally the Sysco generic brand fries. There are actually a LOT of places that use Sysco generic brand, mainly for the easily fried finger foods like fries, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. If you work in a restaurant and are really craving either McDonald's fries or Sonic onion rings and mozz sticks, I'm sure your boss would be okay with ordering an extra box as long as you pay for it (at least if they're a cool boss)
When did they stop using Simplot fries? I knew there was a thing about the gmo varieties specifically, but I didn't realize they dropped them as their supplier.
While I worked at Subway they wouldn't let me buy a bag of Chipotle sauce :( Almost stole one (I was young and dumb) and realised just in time they had a camera in the storage room
McDonald’s fries are S tier, when they’re hot. The problem is McDonald’s fries are sometimes cold and soggy. If you go to McDonald’s right before 5 or 6pm the fries will be fresh because they got new batches out for the dinner rush customers
When I went off to college, I wanted to get very snobby about one type of food. I ended up choosing fries since everywhere had them and even to this day, I think "C tier" whenever I eat some mid ass fries.
Ngl Popeyes and kfc fries are actually really good, at least around me. They are seasoned though, so maybe that person just has a nonexistent spice tolerance
My plan is to get a masters in Robotics and Autonomous Control systems (specifically on the AI side, not really the physical robotics). (Actually hoping to go to ASU for that). When I first started going into AI it was because of, weirdly, Horizon Zero Dawn and not because it was a hype new field. Now I’m kinda nervous about going into a saturated market. I would absolutely “love” being hired to do some stupid shit for some dumb company
nahhh they valid for that. in n out would be the GOAT if they fixed their fries. they don’t soak them to remove the starch which give em that awful texture
ive never had bad guys from five guys, but i will say my friend has... all the other places, i personally find to be TERRIBLY inconsistent except for mcdonalds... mcdonalds are consistently mid, maybe a little better than mid... but five guys easily best (at least near me)... arbys fries definitely hit but its kinda apples and oranges, same for chic fil a
As of the time of writing this comment, wingstop is not even that high* on the p/e ratio of 153 compared to the likes of shake shack with 223.67 and then there's trip advisor with a P/E ratio of 363, GME is sitting at 518, Duolingo is at 613, and then there is Shopify with a credit score for a p/e ratio at 760 lol. *its still high but number go up
hawaiian wings are goated, and you eat boneless wings with a fork if you're civilized. mcdonalds fries peak is amazing but when they're bad they're f tier.
The fact he didn’t mention In N Out fries, the ones that they literally make fresh for you and you can watch them chop the potatoes to fry, can’t believe it. I’m an N N Out truther their fries bust every other fast food chain so much this guy was a coward to not put them on his list
Mcdonalds fries are so generic. I think the best fries I've had were at this bbq place near me, but if I had to pick a major chain I'd say chick fil a clears.
@@schwarz8614 It acutally is terrible. I went to Jack in the Box in LA because I used to see the ads from watching US TV as a kid, I fucking puked so hard. I wouldn't feed that shit to my dog.
The only fast food that’s good in California is the non-national chains. Stuff like In N Out and Habit is actually pretty good, even if they aren’t completely California local they started here
@@Bagel920 Finally someone mentioning The Habit. Not everything they make is great, but some of their stuff is fantastic (crispy chicken, santa barbara char)
@@ryan_alexanderYour first mistake was eating at Jack in the Box. No one likes Jack in the Box, no one says they like Jack in the Box, no one eats there. I don’t know how they’re still in business, the only thing they do well is their commercials. Your second mistake was eating fast food in California. If you think American fast food sucks please go eat at a Whataburger or something.
I work at Chipotle, and I saw a certain Branden G.H. Ewing pop up on the door dash screen, and I was excited to see the coffee cow himself, but it was just an imposter, My little Atrioc, where do I begin on how much I love you and your quench for Chipotle? One day we will meet Atrioc.
@@ryan_alexander no no no! Honestly their fries are awful, maybe I’m just getting them from a bad place and maybe I wait too long to eat them, but they’re just not good. And only good thing? Five guy’s burgers are amazing!
@@thecluckster3908 I will say, cold 5 guys fries are asshole. The burgers are good, but they’re def way overpriced so I can’t justify them. The dogs are good too, but why pay $7 for a dog when you can get one at Costco for $1.50
The best fast food fries have to be Shake Shack. They’re delicious all the time, whether they’re fresh or they’re a bit soggy. Hell, even while on the job, you’d typically get sick of eating food from work, but I could never get tired of eating Shake Shack fries. Same goes for the chicken sandwich. Also, wet clears dry every day of the weak.
Wingstop has the best peak out of any fry on the market. My big issue is that the default isn't cooked long enough to be crispy, so you always gotta ask for the fries well done. But I have a Wingstop that likes me so it's always the best.
I'M TIRED OF HEARING IT CHICK FIL A WAFFLE FRIES ARE NOT THAT GOOD THEY ARE AN UNSALTED POTATOEY MESS I"M TIRED OF THEM GET PRAISE THEYRE GARBAGE I HAVE FRIENDS WHO WORK AT CHICK FIL A AND EVEN THEY KNOW STOP SAYING THEY'RE GOOD!!!! Also KFC and Popeyes fries aren't that bad. I'd pick them over McDonald's...
