Damn, Rob’s analogy was on point. I too have a car I couldn’t get rid of. The first thing my mom bought after saving her money when she started working to help my dad out was a car for me. I don’t have the money to fix it now, but hopefully I do in the future just to drive it again for the nostalgia.

it was on point but for me Usopp is still wrong one dont get me wrong Luffy had his faults too but he is Captain,he was hurt as much as Usopp about Merry, im not going to risk my ''family'' with stickin broken ''car'' when we have to across the world. and again Luffy had his faults too but he did apologized quickly. Usopp on the other hand didnt reflect a bit even when the arc was over, then Zoro had to force him to be ''humble''.

If you think about it, pirates are considered the worst of the worst in the world of One Piece. The Strawhats are pirates.. the Franky Family are merely ship demolition workers who deal with pirates all the time. They don't think what they did is wrong because they don't know shit about the Strawhats. They beat up Usopp thinking he was just a weak pirate who might've helped terrorize some innocent people. Franky stealing money from pirates wouldn't be considered evil in the world of One Piece at all.

Going Merry is not just a "ship" . It is their home, just like the Leaf village, unlike other series where they always have a place to go back, their ship is the place where they find peace and rest. so when they said that the Merry can't keep going it is painful to accept. So don't disrespect the Merry because nobody likes to have their home made a joke of.

I’mean, that probably wouldn’t have happened if Luffy kept watching Usopp. Usopp told Luffy to back him up but dumbass decided to go off and look around the scenery and shit. What if they were the type to have killed Usopp and took the money instead of beating him up and taking it? That would’ve been on Luffy.

Well everyone knows Luffy, and ussop as his best friend knows better, it was stupid to expect him to do what he was told, Luffy is Luffy , ussop should have stayed close to the shipwrights atleast.

Luffy honestly did some harsh but necessary decisions, luffy didn't even think to voice others opinion on the situation of the merry and instead just went straight up to ussop and said look we got to drop the ship, ussop felt weak enough as it is and now he knows he doesn't have to power to voice his opinion either
