I have an idea for reviews, why not do from an upgrade perspective - in my case I have a Thieaudio L3 - what do I get going up to a Oracle etc. Most people are looking to upgrade from one level to the next - or jump up a couple of levels. Love the reviews keep up the good work, it’s appreciated.
Actually, that's a great idea. I'll start asking people for specifics ie what they have how much they want to spend and do a sort of what would I do video.
Dunu SA6 vs Thieaudio Oracle - Very similar price-level, different approach (tribrid vs All Ba). By the way, I like your approach to do comparative reviews. Good luck in growing your channel and keep it up.

Thanks for a great review. I've been trying to make up my mind between these two iems. Personally, I prefer hearing comparisons on price points. The technology in each iem is very interesting, but it really comes down to the best sound for price for me.
2Agreed, all I care about is what sounds best and if all BA pulls off better overall sound than tribrids I"m cool with that. All BA has been proven whereas tribrids may offer something but has it been perfected to the same level?
Thanks for another great review. I think you should compare the IEM based on their price and not focus so much on their configurations. After all, it's the tuning in the end that matters the most.
first question i have is do you have any reviews of wireless bluetooth earbuds that have active noise cancelling with better sound quality than airpod pros and bose qc etc (sony i think does them as well) but i mean audiophile quality sound with SOME noise cancelling capabilities? thanks again
Honestly thank you for this I have been looking for some time now for that larger then life unrealistic sound stage that some of the larger planars have like the m1060s and some of the larger planers like adezes have for my endgame and your description of whats in the exalibers is like exactly what i wanted in my portable end game
Hi, new to the channel. I absolute agree with you the need of having comparisons and baseline, otherwise every decent IEM would have "nice", "good" reviews, which does not matter much when viewers want to compare between those decent ones. Could you recommend something with high level of detail and precise imaging at around $300 price range? I'm starting a budget IEM review blog and looking for something that can reside at the 5/5 level to calibrate my ranking system. My current favorite is Fiio FH3, but I hope to have something better without breaking the bank.
Sorry, can I ask one more question before I make my decision? If I listen to mostly male vocals, and just like you, different genres, but I don't listen to EDM, but I like bass for hip-hop and rap music, should I choose Oracle then?
Very happy with my Oracle set. For your reviews.... feel free to compare DD/BA/TRIBRIDS sets in the same video against each other. It's about what sounds best rather than the internal tech differences of each iem. Would you consider a sennheiser ie 900 review/comparison vs UM Mest Mark II/64 Audio U12t?
@@jaroslavfricek7772 The bass frequencies are not lacking for me certainly but you could always EQ that area with your source device if you want more bass. I hope you enjoy your set. The Oracle V2 seems to be very different from the original set so I will continue with my og set. Cheers

If your after a 1 driver config. Check out the Meze Rai Solo. Which sound better and more defined than the IE300, also cheaper. Moondrop Blessing 2 is the next level up at £330 Next level is Thie Audio Monarch / Clairvoyance at £550 These all lead their price categories and define the value to performance expectations
how about shootouts for specifically all BA set ups earphones at a price point (dunu SA, fiio FA, etc) specifically DDs, as well as the tribrid comparison that you were talking about. I personally would also like an amp shoot out, but I don't know if that's beyond your scope.
I can definetley do videos on those specific techs, lots of options etc. Amp wise I don't have a lot here, typically I borrow a lot and settle on one. EG right now I use an 02, Dethonray Honey H1 and Ynlvmei. Strangely i have more desktop amps than portables right now.

I disagree )), from the age of 4 (more than 45 years) in classical music, I graduated from a music school (piano). In 2007 I had Etymotics 4P and I will say - the violin forte was just a torment to listen to with them, they squealed like a circular saw. I think that headphones with a small V-shaped frequency response and a slight rise in the 7-9 kHz zone are better suited for the classics.
@@genaishivatov1737 i think i agree with what you say.I still haven t found out what means flat response in the iem world.They say that there has to be a raise in the 1khz range and up to match with the ear construction but i think that this creates exactly the issue you state..I m still very sceptical because if you spend 500 -1000 dollars Euro's for an iem it s very disappointing to discover that a violin sounds like a synth..Maybe i should give a try to p1 plus or p1 max.There are hundreds of v shaped iems but really very few that are flat in that area.An other costly example is kinera skuld but i m sceptical again because it doesn t have very good extension in the upper tremble after 10 khz it falls down more quickly than i would like it to do however its very mild iem with hd 600ish sound.This exactly issue happens with many speakers too
@@anatol1204 I don’t understand why for music styles with accents in some area (say bass or midrange), headphones with boosted frequencies in these areas are advised. If you think logically, let's say we have a noticeable rise of 2-5 kHz on a metal recording, then headphones with the same accent will turn this music into a terrible scream. This is just my opinion.
Oustanding, but moving up to the Monarch will give another bump. For the money though they are up with the best at this price, I do prefer the Excalibur however.

@@gasmaskdude2687 I use foam tips and it gives the extra oomp that I need. Switched back to silicone tips tho. Need to hear a tad bit more vocal extension.
