Well, Devons initial reaction a while ago when he said "just don't die" was largely based on a terrible translation by Babken, making Denis statements way more "harsh" than they were intended to be. In turn Denis probably got a bit offended by that reaction from Devon, which may have been a deciding factor in Denis making that clown reference, even though it was super light hearted, and could easily have been laughed off. Now, I'm not sure how much of Devons reactions is an emerging hypetrain fully knowing Denis is super cool and never meant anything serious, and how much is hurt feelings, but regardless I think we can conclude that Denis has a translator problem. I would love to hear more precisely what he has to say, but right now a lot just seems to get lost in translation.

Exactly. If it wasn't for the "just don't die" comment, Denis probably wouldn't make the clown joke (a very playful at that). Babken and Devon are the ones scalating the situation, and because Denis doesn't speak english he is just trapped in the trash talk.
I feel similarly with Devon. He does not want to face a 100% prepared Denis so that's why he wants to face him on such short notice so he can get the win and that's it.
Devon is a master tactician. He shit talks, he tries to take people unprepared, he rarely gives a fair grip. The antics attract a lot of fans but alienate some and that's why professionals look up to humble people like Dennis. Dennis was even gentlemanly enough to give him a round when they last met.

When Ermes beats Devon, I think Denis should use that as basis not to even have a match with Devon. Im getting to where i dont even care about that match anymore. Lets see Denis vs Ermes, Morozov vs Ermes, Morozov vs Levan, denis vs Revaz, Morozov vs Vitaly, Denis vs Zaur, and on and on and on. I castigated Devon for already starting his verbal attacks agains in his chat. It is very simple to trip Devon up with his own inconsistencies and double talk. For example, Devon is the reason for the delay because Dennis and Devon had a tentative match in October or November them Devon loss to Genadi then clamored to Engin until he was given his own personal PPV and rematch that wasn’t scheduled originally. Next Demnis didn’t feel Devon was taking him seriously so he called him out for taking too many matches. This gave Devon a way out or the pretext he was looking for and Devon backed out of their tentative match in the fall while maintaining they never had a “contract” which are not utilized at E vs W because Engin apparently is a man of his word. So Devon needs to just stop distorting the facts to support his narrative. That is what happens with a guy who runs his mouth all of the freaking time for attention: he blows so much smoke and lies that he cannot keep track of them all anymore.

Had to have his artery surgically repaired and is at high risk of it rupturing again with bloodpressure fluctuations. So, as Denis stated, his doctor wants him to follow a slow regiment and peak and rest in intervals to save his life.

I don't understand: Denis was ready to fight Gasparini in case Jerry couldn't fight, but for a fight against Devon he has to be 20% stronger than his current condition? O.o If you have to be 20% stronger to fight Devon, you have to be 30% stronger (or more) to fight Gasparini. Are we sure the translation is correct? Or do you think that if he fights against Gasparini and loses no one can get angry because Gasparini is the 2nd in the world and according to everyone he is very strong, while if he lost against Devon he would be considered finished?

Babken HAS to stop being the middle hand/translator. His translation skills are almost non-existent and often times, the information he is conveying is almost false or missleading. Also, he talks so slow, even in russian, that over half the audience has already fallen asleep with in 10 minutes.
