I agree. These things are also helpful for the caregivers who are taking care of someone with disabilities that need 24/7 help, but still need to work for the income and the insurance benefits to cover themselves and their family members. Also when the caregiver is pushing the wheel chairs it is very difficult as well for them to push and open a door at the same time with out assistance. So yes for the the chronically ill, wheel chair bound persons and their caregivers all the things you mentioned are so needed now and in the long term. 👍🏻😊

Well said! Loved your video. What I hope will never change: if you say you're sick, people believe it, and don't try to make you come to work or party's anyway. Keep up the good work.

I hope that schools continue to believe kids when they need sick days and not focus on attendance numbers. I also don't want the availability of delivery or click and collect to go away once this panorama is over.

That’s an excellent point. I personally believe that as long as work is completed attendance is unneeded. I went to military schools and their rule was that as long as you did the work given to you it didn’t matter what your attendance was, I liked that and didn’t have to worry about pushing myself too far. I think all schools should adopt this. It really helps not only physical health but mental as well.

I had a wonderful experience yesterday while I was grocery shopping, as usual I was in my wheelchair and I had my smart drive going and was pushing the cart without trying to push myself at the same time, as I was leaving a very nice gentleman asked me if I could use some help and he pushed my cart to my car and put it into the cart wrangler for me. Oh and I was also trying to get this bone for my dog it was on the very top shelf (of course) and I used another product to wiggle it off so I could grab it but it flew to the floor and a lady stopped what she was doing and picked it up for me. How wonderful is that?

That is fantastic! I’m so glad that people were willing to stop and help you!

I love all these things too and utilize them heavily. And working from home! I couldn't work if I didn't work from home! But I can easily since I don't have to commute.

Hi Amanda. I had to learn to open those doors by myself as I am usually alone when I leave my house. But I wholeheartedly agree about the automatic doors.

May I ask what type of wheelchair do you have? I had to get a lite one for the same reason. I have a TiLite and a motion composite which are two of the lighter options

I use an air hawk. It’s supposedly one of the lightest ones but my left side is so weak that I can’t even lift that.

@@MandasMusings Oh dang I am sorry to hear that. I have started putting my wheelchair in my back seat. It seems to help me.

@@MandasMusings I really need to put something down to protect my seats though lol it's been raining here in south Texas and it gets the wheels filthy and the anti-tippers as well. I hope that you'll be able to get a lift or something to help you, So you can go out and do things.

Hi I can’t go out without my husband as he pushes me are you the same I now you mentioned your chair that your parents got you as a present Does your husband still push you or do you put your electric chair in the car I am looking for a electric chair but am finding that the suspension is not enough for me over the crappy payments so I’ve got to be pushed

If I’m in my manual wheelchair then my husband pushes me. I usually use that wheelchair if I know the terrain is going to be awful. My mechanical wheelchair is fantastic for stores or nicely paved trails. While that chair is about 45 pounds my husband still has to put it in the car for me.
