Retro always coming with the 🔥🔥 content. Every episode I feel like it nostalgic to the fullest. Always great to see stuff from my childhood. So many memories. I appreciate you Retro
I literally just left y’all’s store and subscribed while I was in there. I’ve always loved the store, but it looks even better now that you’ve added your own flair to it! I’m glad that you of all people bought it
Came to your store back in December. We came from Texas. Love your show, content, and great people working at the store. Just wanted to let you know that we love your channel, keep the fun content coming.
I worked at Best Buy in the early 2000’s when the Sony trinitron was a big deal. Though rare there was a 40 inch version of that TV but it was very expensive and had to be special ordered
I'm so glad you said that about ur locals man I go to this local game store forever and ask one time after spending like 2 or 3 grand in half a year ask to be put on a list for when pokemon games got brought in and an employee just went off on me I've never gone back glad you respect ur local costumers
Awww it was awesome seeing my sister Rissa and my brother in law Kelan in your video!!! She mentioned it to me a while back but I kinda slept since then! She absolutely love’s vintage items! ❤
If the place next door opens up, you should rent it and open up a game room. Where kids and adults can come in and pay hourly to be in the room. You take a credit card for their account. Then they swipe their member card when they get i. And get charged for whatever time they use at the end of the day(that way, if kids are in and out, you dont have to charge multiple times) you can have it round up to the nearest hour so they have to come back to use the 45 min they have left in hopes they stay longer. Ours sold food and drinks, which is where theyade a lot of their money with a simple fryer and menue. Doing lan parties and tournaments. The owner here says he maks most off trade-ins and drinks. Buys energy drinks at wholesale and charges double. Or 15 cents on a $2 fountain drink. 10 bucks an hour or 3 hours for 25 5 hours for 40. Slow days he only sells 60-80 hours but busy days and events 250-400 hours in one event. 30-50 people staying for 5 hours in a smash tournament or lan party. Once or twice a month.
I started buying and reselling videogames a little over a year ago, in my early 30's. Been going well so far, managed to get quite a few amazing deals from ebay, but I've also been in the red a couple of times too. 😂 It's been a fun learning experience and a great way to build up the collection.
My 10 year old son is out with me every weekend at yard sales and estate sales. He has turned $10 into $100 last year and the goal is $1000 this year! He goes by Lil Flipper.
As a joke when I was about 7 at my grandma's I told her I wanted a barbie for Christmas. She bought me 1 every yr until last yr when she passed. I'm 40.....my friends got me one this yr to keep the tradition alive which was nice of them. But, I have 1 closest that is literally full of old barbies lol.
Rick be careful with MOTU cause Mattel has remade the OG line a few times. The ones you just got look like the current Masters of the Universe origins line. I know you might know this just don't want to see you get burned.
Had the 32" of that TV, and the stand! And to be honest, the *only* reason I didn't keep it was because it was *SUCH A BEAR* to move. Which is the nicest way I can say it. And I quit haha
I have that same CRT in my game room, and it legit weighs a lot! Got it from a guy that had it on a second level. We were sweating bringing that thing down the stairs. Had to unload it myself when I got home.
@@dogoshicatamoto269 Google says 185w . Not sure. All I know is, when that thing turns on you feel it. Feels like it's pulling power from the whole house lol.
2:17 we used to have one of those 36" Sony Trinitrons, but it was black. It was suuuper heavy. At the time they released, I believe they were the largest glass tv available.
Heck Rick, love the videos. After some research, it looks like the biggest trinitron made from Sony was a 40-inch from 2002. That is 11.11% larger than your 36-inch. It also weighed 304 pounds! That is 60% heavier than the 36-inch CRT.
The 40” Sony WEGA is the “big one” weighing in at a whopping 304 pounds! Getcha one of those! Or see if you can find an RCA F38310 38-Inch CRT HDTV which is a widescreen tube tv with a built in DirecTV tuner!
I got that exact TV for free this past summer off Marketplace, with the stand and I could not believe how heavy it is haha I almost killed my stepdad. It’s so good for SNES as well as VHS
I think the finding, buying & reselling of retro stuff super interesting, but I always wonder how much money you actually keep. My day to day job is just too hectic. 🤪
i manage to get two wii u games for 4 bucks the lego hobbit and super mario. Also got a nintendo red ds lite with a mario kart game for 10 bucks but has a broken hinge and no charger.
NATE BARGATZE??? Man, it's so odd hearing you say you're going to one of his shows, because ever since I started following you a couple of years ago, I've said you two look and sounds alike. And not in a super obvious way....just a vibe I get. Anyway, great video as always and hope you enjoyed the comedy show.
When I discovered Nate Bargatze he reminded me of u. Your videos have kinda taken a hit since u started running the store. Seems like u r just doing vids to get them out of the way. Kinda rushing through and not much personality. Just sayin ✌️
hey this is Caleb the reason I brought stuff to the store was not because I was to lazy to list these things individually but simply because there was not much value here.
Rick is great and i love and watch both his channels, but he constantly (on both his channels) manhandles all his stuff all the time. Whether its comics, cards, loose toys, carded toys, loose games, boxed games, at flea markets or in his shop absolutely everything. He just chucks stuff about, leans on stuff throws stuff on top of one another. It drives me crazy. You are actively damaging things without a care in the world. I have seen many things that i would like to have on his channels but would think twice knowing that they have probably been damaged a little bit becasue of this.
People are driving from other states to shop at this store, there's a list of people waiting to buy stuff, it's sold as soon as it hits the doorway lol. And commenters are still worrying about how much he takes in on trade 🥸
