The big companies from outside the continent are changing our Africa natural seeds for planting to GMO seeds, soon enough Africa will not have natural food crops of food source. They are even buying out our farmlands in the name of mechanised farming are planting GMO crops already. The mass production of these foods will soon populate our Africa markets.

My father was doing intermittent fasting without us even knowing. He ate twice in a day and he does not snacks. He drank water all the time. He slept early after dinner by 7pm. He just passed on at 90 yrs without any health issues. In fact he told us some months ago that he wants to go home and we didn't really understood what he meant by that until he passed on in his sleep. I think I like that lifestyle of living without disease till dead.

I was raised in that lifestyle. Changed it when I started working as a home support worker and the dietitian told use we needed to eat every few hours so we could lose weight and stay healthy. I kid you not. I ballooned to over 300lbs. When I decided to go back to my old way of eating I lost all the extra weight and am back to a healthy 180 -200 lbs again.

Video synopsis: - We are addicted to many things (including sugar and digital screen time) - We eat too often - insulin levels never fall.. so we store fat. Not what our body was designed to do. (Implication we need to eat less often) - Eat whole foods (including, if you wish, chicken and/or beef as long as it is grass fed, not grain fed) - Eating eggs, chicken, beef helps people stay compliant to their diets

The only people with that problem are the noble with their abundance wealth, especially after they know how to extract oil from plant and refined the sugar. Modern human imitates how the noble eat (breakfast, lunch, dinner, WITH tea time and snack in between), but with addition of highly processed food, preservatives and basically salt and sugar in a package for convenient since most of us busy and stressed.

I've been doing intermittent fasting(20 hour fast, eat only 4 hour window) for past 2 years. Went from 170 pounds to 155. Here's what I notice the health issues that went away. 1. Hemorrhoids that started during my 30's is no longer an issue. 2. My cracked heels is now normal. No more using those scrubbing things to smooth out my heels. 3. Canker sores. When I accidently bite my mouth, these sores will form and stay for 2 weeks. Very painful especially if 2 sores next to each other form into a super canker sore. Now...they heal themselves immediately. No more canker sores.

I also swapped all my sugar for stevia or monk fruit, and swapped my table salt for potassium chloride (potassium salt). @@rhondal8887 It's been my experience that most people start feeling a bit wonky about the third day. That's an indication they are entering ketosis as fats begin to break down and the toxins they held get dumped back into the bloodstream . That passes with experience for most people

How unpleasant the experience is depends on how much toxicity is in your fat stores. If you have good diet before you fast and you ease into the fast, say eating only fruits and vegetables, little or no processed foods 2 or 3 days before you fast, you avoid the headaches, general 'blah' feelings, intense cravings, etc.,

I'm addicted to so many things. I love larabars, walnuts mixed with raisins. I eat them entirely too much. I smoked at 16. I stopped at 26. I really only smoked about 3-4 years because I was always incarcerated. I think that helped me from more damage than I would've gotten. I learned a lot of things in my late 30s. I'm 46 now. I think more people are changing their diets now because things start to happen to your body like acid reflux, hemorrhoid, inflammation. etc. I been limiting my meat intake. The time from my first meal until my next meal. I usually eat twice a day. In the morning at 6:30 then I try not to eat again until 3 pm. I usually go home and eat some more Larabars or some fruit. I have a hard time stopping myself from eating walnuts and raisins or larabars 2-3 o'clock in the morning. I have to stop that. A lot of my sisters and brothers are eating more healthy. We're getting older so we have to treat our body's right and not abuse it by stuffing ourselves with everything that looks good. I pray everybody get whatever issues are bothering them under control or completely get rid of it for good. Thanks for the video Doc. It's always a blessing to hear positive messages like this to give me and other people hope and faith in a brighter future. All praises to the man up above, Jesus Christ. ✌️ ❤ and 🙏

In my school years, I had a nervous stomach. Because of this, I refused to eat breakfast; didn't want to chance having to have bathroom visits (teachers wouldn't let me leave class). So as a result, I've been doing intermittent fasting since my teens without realizing I was doing it. I typically eat twice per day and don't snack. I also fall asleep early so this means my lunch is around 1pm or so and my dinners have always been around 5 or 6. I've been doing 19hr intermittent fasting nearly my whole life. Granted, I eat poorly (lots of fast food) but I honestly should be heavier and I think the reason I'm not is because of my habit of not eating all the time. If I could just eat better, that would be optimal. That's always been my struggle.

Yeah, the fast food (and packaged food) is full of super unhealthy oils - seed oils that have been overheated and broken down, and possibly rancid. Extremely unhealthy. Look up seed oils. And overheated creates catechins that cause cancer. That's why eating grilled meat often is warned against. And probably hydrogenated / trans fats - they say they're not used anymore, but you can see them in the ingredients, even though the breakdown says "0 trans fats" there's a loophole that lets them lie to us. Not to mention all the chemicals and sugars added. "Food that won't go bad was never good to begin with" (I just now coined that motto. Eat fresh food from the perimeter of the market - they are refrigerated to stay fresh instead of full of "preservatives" ie. bacteria killers, or poisons in low dosages that build up in us eventually.

I am a senior with mild arthritis. I was fascinated by the Keto diet. Its way too extreme and restricted for me BUT last week I changed what I ate. In the morning I did have toast, an English muffin with coffee and then nothing till 1pm. I made a salad with tuna, egg, oil vinegar dressing and cottage cheese. I did this the whole week. I could go till 6 or 7 PM without ANY cravings, snacking or hunger. Unusual for me. I could have gone even longer but I need to make dinner for my husband. So I typically eat at the same time he does. My downfall was always the cookie jar. I just passed by the cookies these last 2 shopping trips. I think now I can just eat very lightly at night or maybe nothing even. I don’t typically want something to eat in the evenings until my husband starts with his chips etc. With eating more proteins that isn’t as much of an issue. I also made old fashioned custard for an evening treat. This one week has taught me a good deal. My arthritis and brain fog was significantly less and I slept better as well. Also very little if any reflux. For me a transition has to feel natural and not forced. A diet higher in proteins and whole foods seems to work well for me. I think my system just feels in balance now. I just feel better and have more energy 😊

Chickens that are crammed into cages, and fed a low grade (cheap) diet can be Sold at a lower cost. free range chickens are healthier birds and don't need to be shot up with antibiotics . Another example is crop yields (vegetables, grains, etc.) a grower who sprays their crops with herbicides (poison!) and/or uses GMO seeds will get a higher yield per square foot, so the crop can be sold at lower cost. So what is more expensive...... Healthy food.... or unhealthy body headed for an early grave!

How do you mean your "entire body" please? That must be hard to measure. Like losing 4" from your chest, 12" from your stomach, 5" from your thighs - is that over 20" from your entire body? I don't understand otherwise, but I've never heard of an entire body loss measurement in inches. Sounds good, but how do you measure it? Easier with weight - lose 20 lbs for example and it's from your entire body. Congrats whatever way you're measuring 🙂

What you're saying is so very true. I only eat twice a day with eight hours in between and I have no issues with my weight and look a decade younger than I am. The last thing western doctors ask if they ask at all is what is your diet. If we started there, at the core, instead of throwing drugs at "disorders" we all live happier healthier longer lives. I do the same thing with my pets they get meals three times a day with no free feeding in between and they are healthier because of it. Our bodies are not designed to be processing food constantly. It's really common sense.

WELL you cant change stress, so of course people will eat too many times. we all eat out of stress. losing weight will involve the person who is overweight, needing to admit that they eat out of stress much too much. so we must address the stress with the person. it isnt about eating, it is about stress. and peace, if a person has a hard life or is missing peace, then the food helps them calm down

Overweight people never want to admit they eat too much I used to be 40 lbs overweight and it didn’t come off until I was honest with myself about how much I was eating. I was lucky to have a lightbulb moment and I drastically changed my diet and started fasting. I made a promise to myself to never be overweight again. I’ve maintained for over 5 years because I fast and eat primarily whole foods.

Yes, you can’t change stress, but you can change how you respond to stress. It’s all about awareness. I am definitely not Buddha, but willing to learn. This is a lifelong process. Not everyone can change career or job overnight…sometimes we need to walk out of relationships. It can be very stressful, but I focus on long term benefits…

Wonderful, powerful video all factz. I started fasting one day a week, although menopause has wreaked havoc on my memory, it's done wonders for my body. I find I can only eat once a day, a small amount and so far, I have lost 30lbs. Thankfully I have no addictions, so that's a battle I do not have to fight. I have also started incorporating eating a couple cloves a day.Thank you Dr. Jamnadas for this awesome video.
