Huh, wonder who that weird DJ character would be 🤔 But for real, a big thank you to two dollars twenty for letting me play Sparx FM's DJ and letting me do the sound for the intro, it was a lot of fun to work on and I think it worked out great.

You are taking the ‘You create the Stories’ aspect of Paradox games to a whole new level.

The name pineapple springs seems appropriate for that area

Really loving Sunset City lately, and the tired old industrial area is top notch! One tiny thing - it's not super realistic to have so many train cars on an abandoned line - those are valuable and the railroad would have removed them! You might see a couple cars left nearby warehouses and things on side tracks, if they were purchased and are used as essentially stationary sheds, but a row of boxcars abandoned in the middle of the mainline wouldn't happen (no matter how cool it looks!) One really neat way to still have trains on the line could be for the line to still have one small rail-served customer at the end - that way one of the tracks could be totally out of use, but one still sees one train every week, slowly rocking across unsteady old track to deliver a couple cars to a lumber dealer or something like that.

Someone in the community has to have a good news anchor voice. Something with base that can give us little updates about the city and maybe even little recaps of expansions or recent events.

Mothership NEEDS spotlights! and colorful disco lights on the rooftop patio. fill it with dancing peeps, and a line of people to get in. (Don't forget the bouncers.)

Sunset City's Coconut Grove can be named Tuttle Grove. Julia Tuttle was the founder of Miami, the only woman to found a big american city. In the game, the Tuttle family can be one of the first to move to this area, living in one of the mansions.

I would think it would be funny to name a suburb "Pineapple seed" or "Pineapple Bay". Or maybe "Papaja Beach". I would imagine it was an old shipyard or small farm of Pineapples or Papajas that was torn down, and in memory of that name the place was renamed. And btw I'm very exited of C:S2

I think that a old shipwreck would suit the industrial neighborhood. It then could be called "Shipwreck-Shore". Talking about ships, a tourist trap destroyer or aircraftcarrier, the "USS Seminole" maybe, would look amazing along the cities shore. Well Sunset City already does look amazing, keep up the good work!

Just a couple of detail suggestions: The abandoned railroad tracks directly under the highway onramp would have been removed when the ramp was constructed, and the abandoned boxcars should be a lot more weathered, rusty, and graffiti covered. The word "aquila" means eagle in Latin, so maybe a stylized eagle logo would be appropriate for the Aquila hotel (if something like that is available).

I mean the work you put into theses videos are just insane ! One really cool detail would be to make the construction site evolve over time, adding construction work at random spot in the city and making them evolve through the episodes, love the content !

Gator Cove or Gator Grove are similar sounding, catchy names that lend to the greenery of the neighborhood.

The nightclub is awesome! I would love there to be a backalley, where some sketchy things could unfold. Like in GTA maybe some carmeets of sorts! Love your work!

You could add a valet stand with a couple cars in front of the nightclub. In Coconut Grove there's a great museum called Vizcaya, that could work as a neighborhood name.

Quite a fan of the character this guy gives to his neighbourhoods. Definitely makes the game better for me. Also missing oceania!

i think the mothership would definetly have some kinf of guard at front. Problaby a very muscular tall guy who maybe even in a bit notorious around sunset city. He would definitly be a cool side (or main charakter?) in the story. Possibly he has some connections the the fish gang down at the docks or something. Great videos keep it up❤

Sally sunset could perform a halftime show or something at the stadium they could be a cool idea if it was possible, or maybe outside it if u can't make it look inside the stadium

There is this town in Belgium called Doel which is a town located next to a nuclear powerplant. For a very long time it was just a normal town but in recent years the government wanted to switch it up and make that town into an expansion of the port (theyve had these plans since 1965). So all the people that lived in the town got "evicted" (they got money for their houses) and the town went abandoned. This place became very well known for people who like urbex but also for the homeless and for streetracing. More recently the goverment said that theyre not going through with the plans. So the town got abandoned for nothing and to this day its still a ghost town. (As of 1 September 2009, people are no longer allowed to live in the village. In 2021, there were still 19 people living in the village and 91 in the surrounding area.) On 30 March 2022, a compromise was reached after a 24-year long legal battle. The Port of Antwerp is allowed to extend its container harbour, and the village of Doel is allowed to exist. A green buffer zone will be created between the harbour and the village. It would be dope for you to maybe include some type of ghost town maybe even with a nuclear powerplant cuz ive never seen anyone do an abandoned town. Anyway thanks for being such a dope youtuber!

Idea for coconut grove!!! You placed The Surf Ballroom in the heart of it, you should give credit to this famous building in Clear Lake, Iowa. You should name that area Surf Side. I was honestly so shocked to see you place The Surf in the game! It’s a historic venue and it was famously the last venue Buddy Holly played at. I’m not sure if Buddy Holly is a known name in Aus, but he’s shaped a lot of American culture in more ways than most people know! Please consider Surf Side and do some research on the history of that building! It could create a great back story for the town and give Sally Sunset a chance to play on a stage that so many music icons have played on!!! Thanks! Jake - Des Moines, Iowa

For Little Havana you could change the name to another big Cuban city. For example Little Trinidad or Little Varadero. Awesome video as always! :D

Maybe the Coconut Grove district could be named Coconut Growth, and there was a Coconut farm/factory over there?

The intro made the city feel very... Fleshed out. As if it was already completed even though it's far from that. Kinda love the look of this series, and I do love the idea of silly-ish gangs in the city. I do feel like the gangs would be called something related to Bettas since that's what their illegal business is built upon. I thought Betta Boys was a funny name for them, but whatever gangs come in sounds exciting!

The rich people in Coconut Grove need some sound protection from that highway. I don't think a sound barrier would work well, but a very dense forest stretch (and a fence, can't have the neighborhood pets run on the highway) would also work with the trees you placed in the neighborhood. It shouldn't be wider than 3 or 4 meters, with a large metal fence. And cities actually do that.

It would be amazing if you could find a place for Tony Montana! Maybe a Mansion or maybe just have him be a part of one of those nightclubs!

Lore Idea Time (Cut scene starts): -nock nock nock- Fabio rolls over in his bed groaning, “What is it.”, he says. “Sir, the factory alarm got triggered and someone pressed the panic button.” Fabio’s butler tells him. “It’s probably just a jumpy guard and a rat or something…” Fabio groans. “One more thing sir…” the butler says. “What” Fabio snaps “I need my sleep…” “A guard radioed in saying they were under attack or something, but then I heard gunshots a scream and the radio went silent.” The butler tells him. Fabio sits there in shock, not sure what to do. Finally he says “Call the police make sure they are on their way, and get my personal security team ready and have them in the lobby with the car in 5 minutes.” “Yes sir” the butler says before leaving the room. 10 MINUTES LATER -CRASH- The door flys open and Fabio’s personal security teams storms the factory. Mostly made of Ex-Marines, spec-ops, or swat units they clear the building with deadly efficiency, but encounter no hostiles. The floor is littered with bodies, some wearing leather jackets with weird piranha patches sowed on, some wearing the Fabio security uniform. Weirdly the floor is also covered in piranhas, squirming, writhing, living piranhas. “Where are the police!?” Fabio yells Just then one of his men runs up and tells him he found something. Fabio jogs over to find a gang member lying in the corner between 2 soda tanks. Soda flows onto the floor out of bullet holes in the tanks. “Tell someone to patch those holes” he snaps at one of his men “Yes sir” he responds before jogging off. “So” Fabio says crouching before the man “what do we have here?” “I won’t tell you anything!” The man says defiantly. The sound of ambulance sirens pierces the silent night. Fabio waits for a moment before saying “then the medics don’t know you’re here” as he goes to stand up. “No wait, fine I’ll talk!” The gang member bursts out. Fabio turns smiling “now talk” he commands “Our bosses name is -insert patron, or nitro booster or whatever- and you see this guy named Gabio, he hired us to sabotage you, I don’t know why, but he also bribed the police and the mayor so you’re getting no government help or anything.” The gangster says. Fabio curses under his breath. There is only one Gabio that would want to do this. Fabio’s deranged cousin, he was always bitter with Fabio thinking he stole all the glory and money and fame while he left him to rot. In reality Gabio’s rich parents had pampered him so much that he couldn’t stand anyone having anything more than him. But this was a problem. With the police bribed he would get no legal help. He would have to turn to some people he never wanted to talk to again… The -same patron or nitro booster or whatever as before, or maybe different- mafia. (And yes, I spent way to long writing this.) Man this is all great! As for naming suggestions ever since I heard you were gonna make a Coconut Grove lookalike I've had one name in mind. Lake Mango. The backstory behind it could be that near the heart of the community used to sit a small piece of wetland that gave name to the town, but which since then has been drained and developed over. Something which is really common in Florida after all. As for the industrial area, then you'd be surprised at just how many towns in Florida are named after other cities or countries from around the world. Like just west of Miami and Fort Lauderdale across the Big Cypress is a town named Naples. So I'd say name the industrial area, or if not that another town in the Seminale state Dundee. As a little nod to Oceania

I think it'd be neat to have a neighborhood named after JeremyThunder's Caribbean nation Scylla Republic. It would be like a memorial to the premature death of his savegames.

Idear for the fish gang: The Leader grew up in a area occupied by a more agressive gang they did like gang shoot outs and so on. And as the major idustries where controled by the other gangs he created one wich controles the fish. His plan is maybe to be more friendly to the pupulation of Sunset City so maybe they help the homeless or so. The goal of them is maybe to expand their buisiness to doge island or what it is called. Idear 2: The Fish gang is one of the oldes gangs in the town. Not the most powerfull but one of the oldest. They supposed to be founded when Sunset city dirst was founded bc of its great access to the sea and Fish. They were founded to controll the fish and make lots of money but that gloary days lay in the past

The "Fish" could be involved in the smuggling of caviar and axolotls (walking fish) to make their millions, their gang symbol could be a fish with legs. Great video as always :D

Here in Brazil we often find neighborhoods called “Garden of the Americas” and they are usually very rich and gentrified. They also give all the roads within names of the countries in the American continent, or big cities within (when there are two many roads). It could be a nice option for the area inspired by Coconut Grove, if you like it 😊

Here's a new character for Sunset City. Crimson Male is a famous actor who is mainly known for his lead roles in the films "Bounty Hunter" (a film like Bullitt), and "Agent 11" (James Bond). He is a generally classy guy and can often be seen in the nicer parts of the city driving around in his 1969 red Mustang Mach 1.

I especially love that dock area you did (although ditto to bsq, there might not be that many boxcars left over). If it’s inspired by Brickville, and home to fishing and the Fish, why not Fishville for it? It admittedly doesn’t sound pleasant, but the hipster potential down the road for a neighborhood called that is immense.

Oh man you should totally put some sort of a ship on the top of the Mothership roof, just like that globe in the Scarface movie.

For name ideas for the Coconut Grove inspired hood, may I suggest something like "Tarpon Cove" or "Snook District" in reference to two of the most well known and renown sportfish of the region? Alternatively, if you'd like to stick with the tree theme, while maintaining a classic rich hood naming convention, I suggest "Magnolia Estates".

Papaya Place, Mango tangle, Sugarcube Square, Pineapple Fields. Just a copy off the top of my head.

Instead of Coconut Grove, call it Orange Grove, or Annanas Hights. Named after one Florida's infamous fruit; the Pineapple. Which reminds me, another gang name could be The Florida Special, again, named after state grown Pineapple. There's something there, but I can't put my finger on it. Oh! They're a small-time gang. Keep to themselves, mostly growing Strawberries and Pineapples in the everglades. They've got a slight side gig of growing Coca Plants, within the Strawberry fields. But it's on a need-to-know basis. I'll let you take the rest of the reigns. There's probably a connection with the soda company. But... probably not?

In the US, that practice of splitting areas into different zones to divide and control the distribution of ethnic groups was called Red Lining. It often included provisions for what funding and what financial options were available to people on the other side of the line. If you bring any public transport systems into the area "Red Line" would be an appropriate nod to the practice

King Crab Cove for Coconut Grove because it's near the fishery and the "The Fish" could be The King Crabs. They do crab fighting and then in good clean fun everyone gets to eat the leftovers. 🦀

I remember watching a video by Beaver Geography about how in Florida rich businessmen bought massive plots of land and built loads of roads on them, intending that people would build houses and populate them, but less people turned up than intended so today most of the streets only have a few houses scattered around them. One of the places was Lehigh Acres

in unnamed Doral/Gladeview i'd really imagine a gang called Train Drain, they have their outpost right at the train lines merge, where they occasionally stop a train and take exactly 12% off of what it has - just to let it pass by with no particular problems. Otherwise particular problems start to appear.

Fishmore might be a cool name for the industrial or Fishwell inspired of Brickwell

The new industrial district is based on fishing industry and the gang from there is called Fish, right? So maybe "The Fisherman Shore" is a good name for the district. There could be some story that once it was a fisherman town, or maybe it is the name given by some natives, who used to fish there, idk.

I bet Sally's gonna go for Tina Turner's gig, considering her career should be kicking back into gear by 1983. I could see her pushing out some killer vocals. Also, kind of bummed you're keeping it Little Havana. I think Little Santiago would've been a much cooler name that would allow you to pull from a lot more of the Latin Caribbean but I respect it either way.

You could make a gang that mainly live out on a boat and do their buisness out on the sea near the old docks and they could rival the fish gang. Their name could be something like the jellyfish hunters and they are illegally fishing to make money. They could also have an old abandoned storage facillity near the docks as an on land storage facillity. Mike burgency could be indebted to them because he bought a lot of fish from them to make his fish burger but he couldn't pay them back.

The Fish gang definitely has to be some sort of teal/aquamarine color, IMO. Maybe call them the Dolphins too. Love the direction the gangs are going though, it's hilarious

How about the name for the fish gang be called the "Nightly Crawlers" as in real life there is a type of fishing boat called a trawler, but for SunSet City, they are specifically called Crawlers due to say a major brand/manufacture called "Crawler Fishing." But the factory is now abandoned as the business for fishing boats moved up state or such due to the demand on tourism crusies and the like causing the fish to be scared off so to speak. So now after a few years ex-employees and other homeless/vagabonds have taken up shelter at the old "Crawler Factory. " And every night when most tourism sites close, they can be seen on old Crawler boats fishing and doing their "escapades," so the name "Nightly Crawlers" just sort of stuck.

Some kinda valet parking/place for limos to drop people off at the mothership would be kinda cool. Also maybe changing the color of the floors would be kinda cool make it look more realistic with a white floor

What about "Palmhurst" for the new area. Thought it could fit because of the Palm Beach buildings ;)

I still think that the idea of a banana republic themed gang would be cool. They can smuggle illegal bananas into Seminole and wear bright yellow suits and hats kind of like the man on Curious George haha. Like I mentioned in last weeks episode Banana republics were started by American companies in Latin America, so this could be like one company that turned into a gang and still exists into the 1980s. And the og banana republic company was known as UFC (United fruit company I think), but UFC is now a fight club here in the US. I’m not quite sure of where they would be based, but being an older gang I’d imagine they’re in an older affluent neighborhood and supply the most rare bananas to the richest people.

I'm not gonna lie this is my favorite CS series I've ever watched. Keep it up. On another note, what is your setup like? I've finally hit the threshold on mods and assets. My game keeps crashing

Sunset Vice’s Crockett & Tubbs (Bowie & Sinks?) have absolutely busted a gang illegally “on-shoring” stolen goods in that dock area. With their convertible’s top down, white suit coat sleeves pushed all the way up & the synth blastin’.

Regarding the gang, given Miami has a large hispanic influence then a suggestion for the name could be something like "Los Barracudas" or "El Pescado" (the latter translates as "The Fish"). That's of course if you wanted to maintain the fish theme

You should add a naval port nearby and the fish gang could be stealing weapons from and selling it to other gangs. The naval port could be called norfolk, belfast or newport naval dock

with the abandoned trains, how about convert some of them into a fast food hut? they would be good for the workers who work in the docks :)

what do you think of creating a refugee camp, like it was in the 80s, with the massive influx of Cubans and Haitians do to America's sanctions and Cold War tensions with Cuba. Just an idea. You could have protestors outside the fences, and entries into the camps, which were military controlled. (Scarface fans?)
