I actually thought the whole time the game was waiting for him to use the crank in the middle to speed up the car because it implied 'we will never get to our adventure at this rate' and all that. I figured he was stuck in the tutorial the whole time lol. Also, I think that thing that appears on the track might do something bad if you actually do take too long or something?

This is normal for Mark, skipping intros and tutorials and missing key game play elements then getting to laugh at him when he discovers he should have paid attention. I've seen him miss text clues that pop up nice and big in the middle of the screen.

I know, It upsets me so much when mark plays these kind of games because he always gets confused and worries about missing items, but he never pays attention to what he is doing or sometimes completely ignores what the game is telling him to do.

There is in fact four player co-op. The animations for the other players are a little shoddy, but you stop noticing it after like 3 minutes. It's super fun. It'd be great to see them get to the arenas and higher level depots together and even get a steam engine.
