I really like how the ghosts aren't evil like they are in most horror games. It makes them feel more like they were actual people rather than just demons. The communication aspect is really interesting, too.

As sad as Amy’s story is, I have to applaud the creators for how original it is. When I saw the stair well, I expected them to do the trope of “messed up kid pushes someone down a flight of stairs”. Instead, they went with how his actions of making her drink caused her to kill herself. In a way, it’s much more horrifying as it emphasizes just how young Amy is. I mean, what child hasn’t imagined they could fly?

I don't know exactly why this sometimes happens where the music builds up higher and higher, but it basically means that Jimmy is standing at your position next or behind you ready to swing his bat at you if you turn around.

I am absolutely pleased with the voice acting in this game! The voice of Amy is exactly how I'd imagine the voice of a ghost of a girl that died at 10 years of age! Just the way she speaks, her tonation, everything! Perfect, down to a T

Honestly Maya’s breathing is what scares me most. Not only does it just sound creepy but it feels so real. Like she sounds as out of breath as anyone would be if they had been running from a killer.

Why did Mark’s face popping up while he was in the closet scare the crap out of me

Jimmy's AI can be relentless and clever. He can also fake you out by hiding in the bathroom if you hide in the closet or he can kick in the bathroom door and get you.

trying to rewatch this for the second time and it's so hard bcuz even though I've already seen it, it still makes me extremely tense and terrified. It's why I love this game so much, no other scary game has made me continue to feel like it's my first time watching it. Amy's story made me sick to the stomach, she was just a kid. Omg, I'm not going to sleep well tonight. Also, did jimmy stole her purse with the money so that he could buy the licor? It would make sense.

I absolutely LOVE his panicked comments he makes even though he's in no real danger. Kills me every time, I'll be back for the next part for sure.

So basically, 1. Jimmy stole Amy's purse and took money from it so that he can play the games in the arcade. 2. When Amy confronted him about it, he took her teddy bear and doused it in Turpentine. 3. He gave the teddy bear back to her and then lit it on fire while it was still in her hands, which ended up burning her. 4. She wanted to tell the doctor about her burns but he threatened her with a sword to get her to stay. 5. He gave her alcohol and said that it would make her feel better, making her drink a lot. 6. She got so drunk and felt that she was light enough to jump down the stairs safely so she jumped off the banister and ended up accidentally killing herself.

Watching this series has made me distinctly aware of the sound my keys make when opening doors

Jimmy Hall has got to be one of the greatest horror villains to ever exist…. And he just wants to be a comedian lol… I’d love to see full on movie representation of this.

The only thing scaring me in this game was how little Mark saved his progress

i think the things about this game that make it so nerve-wracking is the fact that it's quite literally an ACTUAL person that's out to get you, he both is, acts, and is like a real person too the hiding mechanics in this game are golden aswell! i like the whole deadlock system as i have no clue if you guys know but when hiding in, for example, the bathroom, there is no guarantee he'll pass by as he can still notice you and hit you so the whole deadlock being the only true way to avoid getting bonked is quite smart

so amy died bc jimmy got her tipsy/drunk and she felt “light”? that’s so messed up

Seeing how traumatized Markiplier was after discovering that Amy jumped from the 3rd floor staircase and died is soooo heartbreaking 🥺💔 Poor little girl, she deserved better

I had a nightmare about this game the other day, long story short, I dreamed that I had escaped the hotel and ran into a town, screaming that Jimmy was a killer, but no one believed me. Eventually, Jimmy showed up and tried to take me back to the hotel, stating that I was sick and that I didn't know what I was talking about. If a horror game literally gives you nightmares, then you know it's a good game XD
