5:45- In DSP's defense, that ball kinda blended in with the background, making it difficult to ascertain its exact size. I think I can give him a pass on that one.

Possibly, but I think the size of the screen plus the color difference are good enough indicators. Plus I've learned to not defend Phil. This IS the guy who didn't know where "W" was on a keyboard.

I played the hell out of this game when I was EIGHT, on my NES. Definitely one of my favorites, and of course Phil is mostly incompetent. Also, how much do you want to bet he looked up the order of the boss fights before playing?

I actually got the intro music from this remix: Mega Man 3 - Boss Theme (Sega Genesis Remix) The rest of the screaming comes from that SCP: Containment Breach game.

+someshyguy The music is actually from Megaman 3, but it is mixed up with screams of What the heck? level of Earthworm Jim, as you said. Not sure if they're from the Genesis version or the Snes version tho.

So, I've explained this one before, but I'll explain it again: Phil isn't using the Game Genie to cheat. He's using it because games won't run without it... ironically... because the Game Genie bent the *fuck* out of the connector pins on his NES. On another note, it always amazes me that Phil knows the Doc Robot weaknesses, but couldn't remember Snakeman's weakness. I could blame Nintendo Power for that though. That Spark Shock misinformation screws me up to this day.

Okay, I actually find the MegaMan games to be legit hard, but I managed to beat the original two at least, and I do love these games. I'm 14 and I'm more used to Mega Man X's controls. But hey, Mega man was known for being a difficult game (but still awesome)

He beat Hard Man just fine, mostly because of him spamming Magnet Missile and Hard Man's pattern making it quite easy to tank. Basically, he just stood dere and got Fisted.

Interestingly enough, the way Mega Man changes directions in 3 is very slightly delayed in comparison to other NES Mega Man games. It's an incredibly small difference, barely noticeable unless you've really sat down and put a lot of time into these games. Granted, I'm pretty sure Phil's problem is that he's just bad at the game… so don't tell him what I just told you, cause he'd probably blame all his failings on that.

On the subject of Phil finding enemies complex, if you see him playing Dark Souls 2, he moans when one of those giant statue knights uses a new attack. Seems in Phil's world, no enemy should have more than a single attack, lest it be too confusing to fight. As such, I require he play Pokemon.

My order for Mega Man 3 - Snake Man, Top Man, Shadow Man, Spark Man, Gemini Man, Needle Man, Magnet Man, Hard Man. Having Search Snake really helps when fighting the giant cat robots in Top Man stage, and the Search Snake is overall a decently good weapon.

+ZRandomGaming Wow, I've never see someone with an order that's almost the same as mine! My order is Snakeman, Topman, Shadowman, Geminiman, Needleman, Magnetman, and then I choose Hardman or Sparkman depending on the mood I'm in. I get that you fight Shadowman before Geminiman because of the Rush Marine. Also, Search Snake is my favorite weapon on the game!

+Burn Angel I use Search Snake and Shadow Blade most. Needle Cannon is basically a more powerful. Mega Buster as well

+Burn Angel In Mega Man III on Game Boy, Spark Shock is WAY more useful. You can stun an enemy with it, then switch weapons, then attack an enemy easily. You can't switch weapons while an enemy's stunned in the NES game.

This must be compared with the MM1 run where he relied on a exploit for go through the whole game. In this case proves he can't learn jack of a game without relying on something and call it "fair" (Including farming in-camera).

This game I had two orders I always did Order #1 Start with Magnet Man Hard Man Top Man Shadow Man Spark Snake Gemini Needle Order #2 Start with Hard Man Top Shadow Spark Snake Gemini Needle Magnet Doc Robots was (I think) Shadow Spark Gemini Needle (I hated Spark Man's with a passion for sure)

Not really, since I have little moments like that myself. Although what made me laugh more was how hard he made Snake Man out to be when really that's what happens when you stand still. God knows how he beat Ring Man with that nonsense, since he definitely punishes you if you stand still like that.

VuurniacSquarewave What's the matter with him being offended by it? The word is so wrongly used as an insult, and it just motivates dipshits to pick on innocent people who have it. This isn't about being a "special snowflake" or anything like that, it's about putting common sense across to the people who think it's okay to make a meme out of mental health. These memes are unfunny and annoying; actually, this is worse than DSP'S gameplay; its much shorter than most other TIHYDP and if you took out every example of DSP swearing and such it would be like ten minutes, and I've seen video gamers swear over nothing, in general. Also, you seem to think DSP not looking up some random website is the same as him ignoring on-screen cutscreen information; it isn't.

Same goes for Mega Man 2, at least the Wily stages. For example, single block platforms that you can't see coming in stage 1 aren't challenging, they're bullshit luck. Also, the invisible trap floors in stage 4 aren't challenging, they're stupid beginners traps.
