How can someone gives this kind of information for free is crazy, while most golf teachers keep all their secrets… You are really a ZEN… God bless you folks…

they do benefit pretty significantly by getting ppl in who've watched the videos though. whilst we're fortunate to have all this info, etc, they also benefit business wise.

I have anxiety and this video hit me. I play college golf then just gave the game up and trying to get back for years now and I struggle constantly and even have panic attacks on the course. Glad he got this experience and can enjoy the game!

Hey Marcus, I have to say thank you. I was looking for an effortless golf swing and watched your videos in this regard. Went to the driving range yesterday and pured almost all of my golf shots. All that was needed was to keep my right elbow close to my body. It was such an awesome feeling. Want to work on shaping the ball consciously next. Your philosophy of the golf swing completely opened up my mind how I want to play the game. Keep up the great work. Cheers

Another great vid from Zen Master and Robin. I see now the key is to know the correct Zen tools to use when practicing swing development. Most Zen students have a different combination whether it be wobble boards, inflated disc, figure 8 and now tape. Brilliant!!!!!! Keep up the strong work!!! Cheers from USA!!

Thought about chucking the game after another miserable time on the course. Made a couple of boards today and tried the footwork exercises. Stack and tilt book in the recycle bucket! Hope to rid myself of all the clutter I have garnered and get that straight jacket off. Consistent pure Ball strikes that go where we intended is why many play the game as yer man says , good score just the icing on the cake. Thinking about backswing positions, grips and so on .... that’s the straight jacket. These lessons are unlike anything I have ever seen or had. The mainly Yorkshire men in the ones I have watched are a tough bunch to please normally ....so well done Marcus! Great results.

This one was excellent! I can honestly say, since watching your instruction and working on foot mechanics plus performing the Theraband exercises my last three rounds I hit more fairways and greens and am hitting the ball farther. My last 9 hole round was a 38. I was shooting in mid 40s most rounds. I also had an eagle on a 451yard dogleg par 5.

I bought the sheftic board and the balancing balloon ( the red and blue inflatable things) and follow the instructions in the video to a T at home, and after about two 20 min trial and error I became fully aware of the torgue Marcus talks about in the video... oh my god what a different feeling!!! In addition to the right foot on sheftic left foot on balloon, I also stood both feet on the sheftic only doing the right arm only swing, and it helped a lot too!!! OMG this is crazy stuff so thank you Marcus!!!!!

I think Marcus might have mispoken when saying the student was hitting the 7 iron at 98mph. Ball speed on that swing was 116mph so I think Marcus might have meant 88 or 89mph.

I am a new subscriber and I really love what I see, but I wish you guys would do a "general" instructional video for those of us that cannot get to you. Specifically, how do we use the boards? Which combination of boards/pads are best for general improvement? Thanks.
@samvance40
@samvance40 3 года назад
I bought everything Marcus uses in the video - the sheftic board, the balancing balloons and the 8 board (not used in this video). Just the sheftic board and balloon drill alone is enough! I used "sheftic right balloon left" + "both feet on sheftic" + "right arm only swing" drills to feel what it's like, and then I got it. It took me two 20 min trial and error to get it.

Quick question? when I use this toe to heel figure of 8 movement for my golf swing yes it’s powerful. But its also swinging the club on a slight figure of 8, ie club coming inside on the bk swing and out to in on the down swing. Do you need to manipulate the swing to counteract this ?
@GRFGolf

No manipulation, club swings in response to your intent, i.e. shot

Is moving off the ball in the backswing just an exaggeration to get people feeling the movement of pressure, or do you actually want people to do that? Seems like every golf instructor I've come across, no matter how they teach the game, always says not to move off the ball in the backswing(e.g. line drawn at the side of your head in a face on video analysis). I've seen in a few of your vids that you get people to consciously move off the ball in the backswing, is it just a training exercise?

26 minutes and the instructor never demonstrated a single shot. Terrible instructor. All talk and no action. You learn mostly by observation.
@banditbaker1675
@banditbaker1675 3 года назад
All you learn using the principle that you advocate is "how the instructor does it" rather than how you as the Golfer needs to do it. Traditional Golf instruction is totally flawed and had put most Golfers on to a path of failure.
@bigfish4741
@bigfish4741 3 года назад
Firstly it would be a 3 hour lesson and secondly how can he demonstrate someone else's swing? His whole concept is to create an environment for the student to explore and find their own swing... I should know as I had a lesson recently and you can't show feelings of a swing

@paulshrubb2734
@paulshrubb2734 3 года назад
@@cynt1111 As you said you have poor mechanics, not awful though. Your takeaway is jerky, you don't complete the backswing, your transition is rushed, you don't weight transfer properly, swing is out of sync, poor rhythm, and you don't complete the follow through. Apart from that it's perfect. Get a new instructor. You could be really good with the right instruction. All easy fixes.
