@@ShorkCODM one side of my teeth are lower than the other and shifting to the side, so the right side of my face is lower and shifted, was yours like that? if not then I'm doomed
@@recessedsubhumanbraces should fix whatever teeth issue unless it’s a genetic mutation. Making space for teeth can make teeth alignment better, and improve jaw symmetry drastically. If your teeth size isn’t the same, just consult the doctor, likely it’s the gum coverage.
@@VintageWZM-dr5dt im not talking about the size of my teeth, in fact I have 2-3 baby teeth and some teeth that never erupted due to narrow palate or some other reason my problem besides that is one side of my maxilla is literally lower than the other which is evident in the teeth, one side of my top teeth is lower than the other. I am 13 and I hear that braces disrupt facial development, and I want to get an expander but I don't want to stop facial development
@@recessedsubhuman I'm having the same problem as you it might be from the scoliosis and pelvis I've just started doing exercise to correct them hope it helps. By the way did you check if there is an uneven part?
This is impressively accurate to my situation, from the maxilla, down to the spine, down to the pelvis and knees. I have been practicing symmetrical mewing and posture for a year now and I definitely notice a big difference in all areas.
Hey i know this will sound weird and you dont have to answer at all but. Are you a man? If so, is ypur penis also assymetrical? My left side is tighter and less developed and so is my penis basically. Im just wondering you dont have to answer
PTs and Doctors can’t give me a proper diagnosis, but this guy can. This is my exact problem and has been affecting my facial structure but more shockingly all the muscles on the left side of my body
This is extremely accurate. After mewing correctly for a few weeks, I noticed changes in my jaw however it was mostly in the left haw. My right jaw and right cheek were lower rounder and chubbier. The issue can be traced back to my lower right back being weaker which caused links to my right side of the tongue being weaker. Which meant that when I mewed, or swallowed. The right side wouldn’t have proper force on the maxilla. And when swallowing, since the tongue strength hadn’t been developed, I was using my cheeks to swallow resulting in a chubbier cheek. It is all related but now Im glad to know that its adjustable and possible to change. My left side looks better and sharper and the cheek is hollowing out.
I always have this thoughts about 'our body all is connected' so the facial asymmetry can be traced deeper ro other parts of the body, its being validated thank you
Absolutely true. A weak tongue on one side will tilt your jaw/face which will tilt you head and neck which will cause issues in your upper back which will cause issues in your low back/hips and down to your knee and foot. It’s scary how something that’s off by a tiny, tiny amount will throw your entire body off. It’s why I predominantly train unilateral exercises when I work out and try to even out any imbalances from one side to the other.
My asymmetry is getting worse every year noticeably! One side of my face is noticeably more forward than the other side. My tongue is way weaker on one side. I need to fix this asap!
get x-rays for scoliosis bro. i had lumbar scoliosis from i was born and i only found out when i told my doctor my body was slanted one way and he got me xrays
makes sense why ppl even those who seem to have good facial structure well past their childhood into adult hood can “suddenly” have asymmetry due to damage or pain to the body after a car accident or simply falling, sleeping wrong, a fight, bad habits etc i’ve also noticed this in ppl who had to get surgery on their deviated septums in adulthood. i’m very grateful for being a natural nose breather but even still i have slight asymmetry that i can hopefully correct with proper posture, stretches and excercises
Facts. i was symmetrical as fuck as a kid. looked almost like i was mirrored. now one of my eyes are higher than the other and i have slight jaw asymmetry i barely mouth-breathed as a kid because i had selective mutism and never smiled or talked. so i’m gonna blame it on braces sleeping uneeven chewing and terrible posture i would always lay one side when watching tv or something slouching a specific shoulder
@@sukunawillstillwinI’m pretty much the same as you tbh like I don’t really know how symmetrical I was as a kid but obviously I wasn’t asymmetrical, but I’ve had braces, but I was stupid because the whole time (and even months ago) I would literally sleep on my right side and never the left, and I did notice that while I had them my right side jawline was developing and my left just wasn’t as much. I don’t think the asymmetry was as bad though until I started properly mewing (now I think it was because of uneven tongue pressure, learnt from this channel). and yeah like you I would lean on one side the whole time rather than the other, I had and still kind of have a habit of leaning my head/body to one side. I also saw somewhere that facial asymmetry starts with the nose. I don’t know what to do like ughhhhhh, I’ve started doing the exercises from this channel and idk if it’s helped yet and I’ve been doing a facial balancing exercise for a while and tbh I don’t think it’s helped much … anyways why did I rant idk
Hi Ryan You should make a video on "" The one side of the maxilla is further developed three-dimensional out and the worst side is narrow and High volted "" how to fix it "" because most of the case is similar to this
I got into fistfights constantly as a kid and have had everything in my face moved around. The most odd sensation is doing facial alignment exercises and feeling my sacrum move around. There's definitely something to the principle behind Osteopathy!
hey I want to really really thank you from my heart for giving me hope ❤ i have been mewing for more than 4 months and i have had great results but i never noticed my asymmetry and i have recently noticed it 2-4 weeks ago i saw a photo of me clicked by my friend and i was terrified of how i was looking and i searched a bit and i found your channel and you gave me hope that i can change and also i have a huge request from you to create a full video on A to Z streches for example how to warm up your neck muscles before streching in the morning it will help the most. Thank you
So I have a lot of information on this. Long story short I’ve seen multiple jaw surgeons and orthodontists around the country the last couple years. I have a lower left eye, right side maxilla is longer. Left condyle is much more resorbed (has disappeared) than my right condyle. I had double jaw surgery a month ago, and was brought forward 3 mm on the maxilla, 9mm on the mandible. To fix my canted maxilla, only my right side was impacted. I now am leaving jaw surgery with my top and bottom midline’s off to the right. Surgeon says he doesn’t know why since I was brought to the left. The midline looks better when I tilt my head to try and get my left eye more even with the height of my right eye. I also have a right focal sigmoid sinus plate dehiscence - so I’m missing inner ear bone in my right side. My right ramus is shorter, left is longer. Surgeon wants to do another surgery in 4 months if things don’t settle properly. It would only be upper jaw surgery. I’m desperately trying to find ways to help my midline and tilting before then so I don’t have to undergo surgery again. Any insight would be appreciated.
You've given a good description of the problem, but I'm not convinced that your solution works. For example doing exercises to balance the head, neck, and shoulders is claimed by you to allow a person to expand one side of their maxilla by putting more even pressure with their tongue. But I have not seen any proof of this happening in adults without a surgical or semi-surgical (MSE) approach. People go through MSE procedure just to grow the size of their midface and even this is not good at selectively expanding one side only. Where is the proof that the adult maxilla can grow from mewing alone?
This is so accurate. My left side maxilla is smaller, more narrow and less forward. I thought braces could fix it. When I mew, the left side of my tongue touches my molars. This also explains why I have a clicking left jaw. Not to mention that I don't really prefer my left side profile because it looks really different from my right side. Huhu
Thx, this helps, my left side is indeed the weaker side and I've been mewing for 6 years. I thought I had good development until I saw my left side one day T_T. I've always looked at my right side when looking in the mirror and I ignore my left side completely, though I knew I had clicking. In a way, mewing worsened my asymmetry by bringing my right side forward and my left side only a little bit.
the right side of my face is completely fucked up. one side of my tongue is weaker, i have a deviated septum, my smiles crooked, my eyelid closes more than the other. I have mild scoliosis near the bottom of my spine but i dont think it would affect my face
Please, I’m an artist from Toronto & I have no idea where to go. This is a really crippling issue for me & it’s something I was unaware of for some time now…Where can we sign up for this consultation?
@@joshuaguthrie4215maintain good body fat% then asymmetry would be less noticeable in person nobody can tell ur asymmetry Unless ur face is too much unsymmetrical.but in photos nd videos it's essy to notice
I have uneven face 😂 my right side is majestic upper eye sharp jaw even a good skin with no smile line but my left side is the opposite the jaw is strong but not sharp the eye is down and the skin is saggy the problem is i used to chew a lot on the left side
Correcting body posture alone to correct face asymmetry ? I am extremely skeptical as long as I won’t see concrete example. It’s a shame you don’t reference any studies of sources at all
1:26 those before-after pictures mean nothing. Lightning is different for left and right in the before picture and it is same for both sides in the after picture. Playing with light like that is deceptive and I distrust people who do those tricks.
How do i know which side is my less developed. On the left side my masseter muscle and cheekbone meets (cheekbone is more developed) but on the right side masseter muscle and cheekbone doesnt join. The left side sa kinda short while the right is bigger. Although i think i have an mandibular asymmetry because my teeth are asymmetric and look more visible on one side while smiling which make them so awkward .....I dont know how can i fix it .. If anyone know please help me out
i wish i know mewing since i was a kids, i was a mouth breather, it cause many change of my jawline structure in highschool, and then i do bracelet my doctor took my 4 of my premolar from the bottom and upper teeth, he thought i had smaller jawline, but the thing is it bcuz i was mouth breather, it cause many damage of my face look, i had recessive jawline after premolar extraction, many years made me so insecure, i do mandibular jawline surgery for breathing problem, but not change much for my facial structure, so then i do mewing for my own good. now i'm 29yo, it takes a bit long, i need to do it more i guess, but i have a small changes at least
Hello .. i wanted to ask you while doing mewing i can feel that my palate is uneven and my tongue exerts more pressure on one side (comfortable side) .. i have tmj disorder so do i need surgery to correct my uneven maxilla or will tmj correction help in this case. ?
On the side that my jaw is better developed (right side) my cheekbone is less forward and lower causing my right eye to have a negative tilt . But when I swallow i feel the back of my tongue more on the right side of my pallet. I dont know if the development is because of better muscle development on the right side or because the right side of my tongue is stronger. But it wouldn’t make sense bcuz my right cheekbone is lower… I dont know id i should try fixing my mewing so its strong in both sides or any other stuff… any help would be awesome ❤
Try this: Get in front of a mirror. Close your eyes. Look up and down and move your head around. Do not open your eyes. Stand and relax with your eyes closed for 10 seconds. Now open your eyes. Notice if your head is slightly tilted to one side or the other. That chronic tilt is the source of the facial assymetry.
5:11 I'm the exact person you described. My left side is better developed. My palate is lower on the right side. This means my head and neck are tilted which way?
My right maxila is less hollow and I noticed it yesterday it had to do with sleeping on my left while mewing. Also my tongue is stronger on my left then right
When. I was 13 year I under went an accident on my left leg and due to that now my left leg is longer about 2-3cm how can I overcome this also my left shoulder is slightly higher than the right
I always thought that surgery was the only way to fix my asymmetry. If I could do exercises that would work, I'm willing to do the effort. I'm 56, though. I might be too old.
i broke my collarbone a couple of years ago, and it is now it's shorter than the none broken one, so im limited on how i can move my arm. could this cause asymetry, and how would i fix it?
Hai please help when i look myself in the mirror my face looks fine but when i take photos i look worse my smile is getting bad. my face is small . I cant even talk properly cause of my face expression . can i get a soulution for that
hi, i have the same problem (only not as severe) of looking worse in photos... and before i can help you- do you have braces by any chance? and if so, for what reason? stay on the grind bro you'll get through this. i came to this video shocked three months ago. now my problem has improved a lot (i look more even in photos) but now i know that i just need my braces to fix my asymmetrical jaw, and then i can continue mewing afer that. im hoping i can help you sooner 😄
My problem is Ive never had any asymmetry issues in my life that is till 3 years ago when I smile one side of my cheek is higher making it look like my smile is weird! Again i have perfect teeth straight and never experienced such issues. I am overweight so I’m currently working on that and also not sure if sleeping on one side of my face always is creating an issue for me. Any advice??
For my case , i am the second type which it hard for me to position my tongue but i am feeling more my neck is kinda rotated and so my shoulders and pelvic too , i feel my pelvic like one side is higher and rotated also and that makes me have the feel of one leg is higher , up to my back and shouoders i feel the same and that affect my nick and up there affect my jaw too , don't known where to start !!
Can someone tell me what can i do,my one cheekbone is very prominent and visible outward +forwrd, and the other isn’t visible and that side is flat and no forward growth.
