You guys are back in Thailand just the right time bc we gonna have vegetarian food festival during Oct 15-23 and i’d recommend you to explore Chinatown, they have tons of veg food there during that period.

If you guys have time You should try walking from Lumpini Park to Benjakitti Park using the greenway link and you can also have breakfast at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. 🙂
While in Bangkok its worth a visit to the Robot Restaurant in Rama 3 its great fun, you get served by 6 foot tall robots, all you can eat shabu BBQ soft drinks included. Good to see you back in Thailand, cheers.

Have to side with Caolan has to be Indian food 😋 but then tbh I haven’t experienced much Thai food except the popular dishes we get here (Thai curries )
Next time you try Benchakitti Park and Benchakitti Forest Park. It's Twice as big as Lumpini Park and in the center of the city at Asok, literal just across the highway from Lumpini Park. Can easily get there via MRT by getting off at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. It has a massive lake and an ecological system.
Everything at Patpong Market are overpriced just for the foreigner tourists. I would recommend Platinum Mall at Pratunam. You can buy all same stuff a lot cheaper there. There're so many whole-retail shops in this mall and you can negotiate a price.
I am wondering if you are being compensated in any way for your hotel review. I feel it would be helpful if you disclosed this one way or the other. Also, the cost of the room would be good information, since you gave the costs of all the other bits and bobs. Thanks, happy trails.
Here is the rule for haggling with vendors. Always start with an offer that is half the amount of what you're willing to pay. For example, if the maximum you're willing to pay is 500 baht then start at 250 baht and work your way up. At some point, the vendor will lower the price to your maximum or close to it. Walk away if the vendor won't agree to your maximum price because the vendors next door will have the same items! The majority of the vendors purchase their items from the same distributors. Beware, 99% of the name-brand items are counterfeit knock-offs!
