I'm glad you enjoyed yanking in baitfish sized peanut dolphin but I find it scandalous that the FWC haven't placed a minimum size on these fish when caught in the gulf. Seems like a lazy way for a charter captain to keep his customers busy. Get a boatload of tourists and run them out to an FAD and exploit the lax regulations by harvesting a ton of juvenile fish, day after day.
Dang! That looked like some fun and work both! Sometimes when the bite is hot, you fish till you get tired of unhooking and take a break! I caught the importance of AC onboard,,, Thanks for posting a really good time!
I understand you have a product to push. I get it. But we throw small jigs including pompano jigs at schooling peanut Mahi all the time in South Florida. They make great strip baits for sailfish and wahoo. Floating FADs (fish attracting device) attract a lot of pelagics. I enjoy your surf videos and appreciate your teaching style. Please do more of that and less tourist boat videos. Cheers and tight lines.
