@@brandonmcninja I know you won't believe me and I don't give shit. I started training in the nineties. Trained with too many world champs to remember. Lived in Brazil for a few years. I remember watching live one of the only few times it worked at a high level (Eddie and Royler). I don't have to give you exact statistics (I could, they're out there) because it's horribly obvious. In comparison to other guards how many times has rubber guard won big fights in ADCC, Mundials, UFC, ....any big event for that matter. It rarely ever does, but when the 10th Planet cult tells you it's effective you believe it.

I forgot brainwashed morons can't google "adcc results" or "worlds no-gi results"..... hearing people explain the rubber guard can be effective if you do it right while completely ignoring its horrible statistics are like brainwashed liberals training to explain communism can work if done right while ignoring the 100 years of failures and 100 million murdered.

@@PaulJohn283 rubber guard is the only guard besides a closed guard that is actually used in high level mma. Just because people aren't on highlights hitting gogoplatas against the best fighters in the world doesn't mean rubber guard isn't used almost every weekend in the UFC the control posture on bottom position, free up your hands for strikes, sweeps, or get ups.
