It's time to dive into another Lifetime holiday movie, this time is Dear Christmas (2020) starring Melissa Joan Hart and Jason Priestley, icons from our childhood. This movie is about a holiday podcaster looking for the love of her own in her small hometown. Although it's a familiar sounding story, this movie comes off much different as it was clearly shot under quarantine restrictions with limited people on set, zero crowds, and not a single living child. Melissa Joan Hart Christmas movies are usually filmed in CT because she lives here. I was an extra in one that was filmed a few summers ago. I got to sit next to Mario Lopez in one scene that they filmed for a few hours. It was interesting to be in but the movie was terrible (as expected lol)

@@kata9553 while I don't support what she did. Doing nothing as soon as you get labor pangs is not really ideal either. You should walk around, take a nap if you can etc. You need that energy for when it's time to push, when but when it's still mild you shouldn't just lay down and stay there. Its also very common for labor to start, stop then start then stop again. But that's a very specific situation that would make not canceling a party make more sense.

@@capir0te You realise that this isn't a white people thing right? The mayans used chilli peppers in their hot chocolate drink which predates the stuff you are used to by a very very long time. I have also found versions of the recipe which includes cinnamon. The Aztecs also had their version called Xocolatl which again included chilli peppers in the recipe. In other words Chillies peppers and chocolate are a classic combination. And no, if you take the flakes and grind them into powder so they mix better with the hot chocolate you can't actually see them. Yes they should probably have said powder instead, but come on. Stop trying to roast people for things you don't know anything about.

This movie feels like it was made via a game of telephone where the screenwriter had to describe the script to the producer who described the movie's tone to the director who then described the setting to the set designers etc. and then they put all their work together at once without watching it.

I work with health academics who all have a hospital background, and they all ended up watching that show because I shared Nick's clip breakdowns with them. They loved it! One of them was slightly traumatized though, because she's dealing with a med student who behaves like one of the characters (I think the one that was in the ED who apparently doesn't believe in washing her hands before or after touching people).

I was watching a video of a youngish influencer type talking about how she regrets face injections since they often don't dissolve(?) and just sort of move to weird places.
