@@amityislandchum I don't get how few people understand about the original. Other than sound effects and some (nonsense) music, the original was carried entirely by voice-acting *and* narration by Boris Karloff (who managed to keep them completely separate entities and voices despite their interconnected nature during the telling.) and the famous "You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch" song which was accidentally uncredited and still considered as iconic and necessary as Max. I enjoyed Jim Carrey's performance, but that film has some tremendous plot holes and moments that ask the viewer not to use even 10% of Cindy Lou's critical thinking and simply accept literal nonsense without question because... Jim Carrey! Character design! Sets! FX! Jim Carrey!

I'll give Matthew Morrison this; he played one the worst characters in the history of television on Glee and managed to give a convincing performance, he was great on that show. He's no Lea Michele, who despite being an atrocious human being, was exceptional. I couldn't bring myself to watch this.

Before the church arrived to Sweden and forced it`s tradition on the Swedes the people had their own traditions. Christmas in Swedish is Jul, which means Yule.
