I think i figured it out. Being a warlock player the dude made a pact with the demon of alcohol, pazuzu, to "upgrade more keys". Little did he know that the price for this pact would be a constant state of drunken nonsense whenever ge was accepted to a key. The dead giveaway was the penta dot. Sure sign of demonic possession (or a dics priest). Only Pazuzu uses the penta dot followed by a constant flow of typed nonsense as his signature. On the upside at least with Pazuzu, the demon of alcohol, keys get upgraded. With Reeferalous, the demon of weed keys get bricked by dudes named after a potato chip brand. Lol

I used to know someone who would do that on purpose. The warlock saying "stop saying its all good" reminded me of him because he would be mad if he couldn't make other people mad. He would get drunk as often as possible and say "they do it to me so im gonna do it to them" He would try to get revenge on randoms by griefing other randoms in any video game he played.

He was a troll. But when a certain kind of troll (the ones that are particularly messed up in the head) don't get the response they want (anger), they get remorseful and turn to self hate. That's why he suddenly started with the "I'm stupid"/"I'm an idiot" stuff.

I worked with a dude like this, had some kinda crazy personality disorder. He would always say things about how drunk or high he was and blame his poor work on it but really he was just looking for attention.

At the beginning i think he was saying tank would blame healer/dps and then rage quit No idea what this lock is thinking other then expecting his hand to be held through the entire dungeon wanting an explanation of each boss before they do it

The last boss is the part that sold me on him being actually drunk, the part where he is just typing nonsense is probably that he was typing in party chat and trying to press him keybinds. Usually when that happens people notice after a second but being drunk would take a lot longer and result in more being typed.

That lock in the sands seemed to have Metal Church's _Badlands_ on repeat lol. "I know these are the badlands...somehow I'll find my way" Good tune btw. Brings back some high school memories haha

I've done quite a lot of wyrm keys in the past 2 months and I can honestly say I haven't ever experienced anything like this, but it could be due to the fact that I'm playing in EU, and we usually play with a big mixture of different language groups so people don't like to type much in english. Hilarious video tho, thanks for the person who sent it in and suffered through this.

As a Demo Lock secondary main and agreeing with the Lock main, this hurts my soul as well. 1. I feel also like too much chatting in a group, means that we aren't going to be focused on the key. I like to say any form of "hi" in the group and if I'm the only lust person, I ask before hand when the tank would like the first lust. On 1st pull? 1st boss? If I get no response from tank or anyone, I have written down notes over time that I keep handy to read off of and use. 2. Has this guy never touched a hot stove or even after cooling off attempted to touch a hot stove? When I touched an exhaust pipe on a car, maybe like 2-3 mins after getting out, my mom rushed me upstairs to run my hand through cold water, after that I learned never to touch something hot after being used. Same metaphor applies, I learned very early on as a BM Hunter with my limited defensives, to not stand in something that's going to tick away my health bar very fast if I can avoid it. I know being a casual Demo Lock player, I have a good amount of passive absorb, active absorb and Soul Link that makes a healer smile because of less focusing on me but this ding bat stands in the sand and dies 5 times. 3. It's hard to fathom that this guy is not only 2 ilvls above me (484) and 200 rating above (2853) that he would be this bad with mechanics. I can understand if you're drunk and maybe perception is hard or whatever the excuse is but I wouldn't play elitist content drunk, yes M+ dungeons, Mythic Raids and Ranked PvP is what I consider elitist content but you are always trying to get to a higher rating. I wouldn't nor couldn't do that to others trying to climb higher for my dumbass to be drunk and not do my part. It's crazy how they still did the key even with this guy. 4. My question for him is why are you drunk pugging on lower keys? I know when people see me at lower keys, they get excited and I show out for it by making sure I do my job in helping them out in turn they are grateful for a nice smooth run. This idiot is drunk, on lower keys with a high rating and can't even complete mechanics that he should know by now. I can only fathom how he is sober at higher rated keys. I'd have a sheet like yourself Metro, not to the detailed extent but I would put his name and server down in case I run into him and just not pug with him, he gives off a red flag vibe with a note added - "could possibly be impaired, doesn't know basic mechanics and talks too much". In all my pug groups , if i type anything other then hello at start or gg at end , i risk the party getting triggered and disbanding. Best runs are when nobuddy says a thing and just does the mech. That warlock would brick any +18 key before the first boss.

This dude was either very drunk, on some kind of illegal substance, or just a "little" out of the ordinary. But yeah, an overall anchor to the group, a key that could have been 2 chested or possible 3 chested got 4 manned into a 1 chest. Kudos to the keyholder for not replacing him.

Having a party member like this is like having an extra affix on the dungeon key.

Usually a little friendly fun chat at the start doesnt bother me. But this guy was definitely a problem, on a higher key I would've probably not started it but a 13 should be fine.

Granted, my first time in here was on a 11 key and none of us knew how to do the dungeon(guild group), but we at least understood that sand hurts.

Yeah it was drunk. It reminds me of last night dungeon I did with the community. I didn’t record it but it was hilarious 😅 the warlock and warrior dps were drunk 😅 healer was struggling. They kept dying for nothing, like the skip before Morchie they kept falling down the corridor lol… and me and the priest telling them in voice that the mob has Mind Soothe and they don’t need to hug the side. They died at every boss and me and rogue basically soloed Morchie and Battlefield because healer couldn’t stay alive with 2 DPS dead 😅 then last boss I basically had to survive the last 5% of the boss because I was really tired and didn’t want to redo the boss all over again 😅 I felt I was taken hostage by them…. We didn’t time it ofc… and it was a +22… 😕

That lock is insane. Had it been a higher key with that behavior I’m sure the group would have disbanded. Lower keys like this are ridiculous to pug. I did the grind for Wyrm’s dreaming crests on my mw alt after reaching 3.2k io on my main. I can honestly say that in most cases healing the 11-15s was harder than the 18-21s. The lack of basic game knowledge and ability to do mechanics is staggering at lower levels.

I think just playing with people who are high is a red flag… in both raid and m+. Anyone that is high seems to play worse. I find it pretty common that when I confront people about their performance being poor their response is “im high”. Not to say that excess chatting before isn’t a red flag though, I had a 23 eb with a very chatty tank who at the beginning of the dungeon pulled like 4 groups together and just kept dying and running back… after that first pull we had like 20 deaths and the healer just left.

I would have kicked him out of the group. Now he has increased his io, which gives him a better opportunity to get picked up by another group and shit their key.

This key is such an NA only experience, in EU no one would talk. Because you'll have 1 russian in the key, one spanish person and 2 germans, and yourself. 3 of those 5 dont speak English. So its just a leave.

I agree with the decision to just leave him dead and also continue the dungeon. a tank and decent dps that has some self heals could time this with 2 people so yeah just leave the guy behind, put him on ignore or not for the lols and complete the key. drag the drunk kid along whatever lmao

The way he doesnt know where the dungeon is makes me feel like hes new to wow but has like a friend or someone helping him kind of push cause honestly i have zero clue how else he would even have remotely close to a 1600 score for keys without atleast someone carrying him to a higher rating. Ima Say new but also maybe playing while drunk. Non the less i feel bad for the other 4.
