I like these little catching Toyota phrases. Only 115 miles on it. Funny, when I go to junk yard I see rows and rows of Toyotas. Just as many as other makes. Some people can maintain anything. Others can't keep pet rock alive. Most don't keep vehicle long enough to change oil. Which means any vehicle will last through lease or warranty expires.

In this crazy car market that is an insane deal, i would take that all day long, if i decided i really liked the rav4 i might repair the damage. I see garbage going for higher prices than this. i own a 2008 corolla with almost 260000 miles, the paint clear coat is immaculate.

She still has it and it now in 2023 has 47k miles. She loves it and never gives her problems and sometimes I drive it with Her to do errands and its still mint. Im considering getting a 2021 in a few yrs whenever these prices finish their tantrums.

I have a 2003 Rav4L with 120,000 miles on it. I have been the only owner and it has never been hit. I have taken great care of it and A couple of years ago I had to replace the computer. Car is always parked in a garage, so very little rust. Everyone wants to buy it but I won't sell. Drives like a dream. The 2003 model was the last model with a short wheel base which means there is very little sliding in the snow. Everything works on it. I plan to be driving it for the next 10 years or so.

I had Falken Wildpeak tires installed and those tires coupled with the four wheel drive make it and excellent combination on poorly maintained dirt roads. TPMS just saved me buying a new 235/45-R17 tire. I had just driven 100 miles without any issue, and when I wanted to drive again 2 hours later, the TPMS went off and said the pressure was only 9 psi in the rear right tire, which I couldn't see when walking to the car. The culprit was a 3 inch long 1/4" screw with broken off head. I got the tire plugged from outside with one of the illegal shoestring plugs and drove 200 miles home, and thnks to TPMS, I could see that the pressure followed the other rear tire.

Theres nothing quite like it as it has the appearance package upgrade and chrome as well. One in a million. The torque is incredible on the V6 and luckily I have the 4x4 to reduce steering torque from the power of this thing. I've been sold on rav4's for years because they are versatile and reliable no frills fun. Oh what a feeling.

I've checked salvage auctions and sales yards before just to see what they have and sometimes you can get something good. Most of them look like they've been hit by a locomotive but then there's a 2000 Crown Vic with just under 130,000 miles that the windshield was hit by a rock. The insurance company wrote it off because it cost more to replace that glass than the car was worth.
@thetman0068
@thetman0068 2 года назад
So long as there’s no rust a Crown Vic is a LOT of car for the money. I just bought a ‘97, last year of the “Aero” body Crown Vics. It rides like a Lincoln! But also has one of the most dependable engines Ford ever built in it. And if something does go wrong, they’re extremely easy to fix - and cheap too! Mine had an alternator fail during a 2500 mile road trip. I fixed it in the hotel parking lot with a $10 set of WalMart wrenches! You cannot go wrong with a Crown Vic, especially the civilian models that haven’t been idled for thousands of hours.
