Yeah right? I’m in high school and people literally verbally tortured my friend for an entire year, calling them slurs and making them feel unsafe while people in the class watched and didn’t say a word. People shoulder check me and scream the f slur at me in the hallways. My friend the other day had someone (and this sounds like a lie but it’s not) come up to them, say “you look gay” and then punched her. She’s 4’11 and he was 5’10 so she couldn’t really defend herself and the guidance counselor said that she couldn’t do anything because “it’s already happened”. Since when is there no bullying? He may not have seen bullying because he probably went to a Christian private school where they preach being gay a sin.

My friend was literally outed last year and the bulling got so bad that they had fucking PANIC ATTACKS just by seeing some of the bullies. One afternoon they literally missed all of their afternoon lessons because of a panic attack caused by some of the bullies standing at the door of our form. And this Christian transphobic piece of shit has the nerve to say that LGBTQIA+ people aren’t getting bullied? It makes me feel sick.

Typically, when people say such a thing, I immediately turn it around by asking how all the cis-gender, heteronormative indoctrination I had to endure for years as a child and someone growing up, managed to fail so spectacularly that it didn't make me "stay straight and cis". It is so incredibly weird that a bit of education in the form in sometimes literally nothing more than "Some boys feel like a girl, and some girls feel like a boy. That is something that is called being transgender, or someone is a transperson when this is the case." is now being equated to indoctrination... Hearing people reason like this in multiple languages is pretty scary, because I'm sure that not everyone who shouts this is hyperconservative religious...

Exactly, my mom usually decides that a trans person and this is a quote is "a they/them" if they're not cis which baffles me but feels almost better than just outright ignoring that someone is trans in the first place, it isn't even better it's still a problem. When speaking to other people they also seem to have experienced this which at first shocked me but somehow after trying to understand where they're coming from, it doesn't make sense ofc, but in their minds it's that trans individuals don't want to have a gender which is their way of understanding it. When someone is just using she/her, in this case, instead of he/him it's knowing they're wrong and doing it on purpose to be mean.

Nobody is using the Bible to hate other people. The Bible is clear on this topic. Identifying yourself with the LGBT while proclaiming yourself to be a Christian is already a sin in itself. Matthew 7:21-23 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast our devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? I know you're likely just a troll, but regardless there's still a person behind every account, and I hope that person one day learns to stop assuming their limited perspective means they can pass judgement upon the lives and the suffering of others. As someone who still lives with their Christian parents. Yep. I feel depressed hearing about the Bible. I’m sick of it. It feels gross to even listen to it. The church I go to, all the people act so happy, yet I know how hateful and misogynistic they are.
