@@bugzta236 When nonbinary is used as an umbrella term all it means is that whatever gender you do or do not have, it isn't one of the two binary ones. Like my gender is best described as gender fluid trans feminine, but that's a lot of gender jargan that would often trigger more questions and confusion than I have the energy to deal with. So I just use the term nonbinary as a simple way to indicate that I am neither a man or a woman without going into unessesry detail

i’ve always seen non-binary as something similar to saying someone is cis. it’s not a gender itself, it’s just an umbrella term for the dozens of genders in that category. similar to how being cis isn’t a gender, but being a cis guy or a cis gal is.

Since gender (as we know it) is controlled by certain brain waves, I like to think of it as we do the colors and light. All three are spectrums, and I find them highly comparable. Someone who is a woman is on one end of the spectrum, you find many varying genders in between, and you have people who are men on the other side. Where are the enbies who don't have a gender you ask? Well, I believe that they are similar to ultra-violet and infrared. Their gender (or absence of one, really) is so incomprehensible to the human brain that we, the sad little normies, can only get a glimpse of its greatness because if we were to truly see it, we would be blinded.

@@SB-iy9vn I don’t know you and I don’t know your history but first of all, I don’t live in the states I’m from the UK, also I am not denying that horrible things like that happen. Things like that is what makes trans people oppressed. It is illegal to be gay in over 72 countries and impossible to get transgender healthcare in so many more. For years being apart of the LGBTQ+ community has been seen as a “mental illness” and only recently we are getting the attention and care we deserve. As a trans person myself and someone who knows plenty of other trans people, we at some point or another have all seriously considered suicide because we are either not accepted by society or because we can’t get the help we need. Last year alone, over 57 trans people were killed simply because they were not cisgender. So yes we are oppressed and I hope that someday you can grow and realise that.

Fr. I think it’s weird to tell kids about trans, and other gender identities at a young age, as it would be hard for them to understand. But I’m fully for showing them gay relationships. This 100%! My problem is that agender with they/them pronouns seems to be what is assumed even though there are sooo many identities and many people use she/her or he/him pronouns as a Nb. I never label myself Nb as a result bc being called “they” makes me uncomfortable. Even using two sets of pronouns seems unknown to the non-Nb world.

(Not related to abortion, but freedom to choose what your body needs) when I had to have a full on argument with my dad about antidepressants and the fact that I’m the one in control of the bottle and not my mother, but he didn’t want me on meds bc of how his ex wife abused his sons adhd meds by only giving it to him during school (meaning weekends and summers were full of withdrawals and bs). I think that people really tend to forget just how much a child can take care of themselves and make decisions for themselves even before the age of 18. I’ve been managing my own meds since about 13-14ish, I knew well before then that I needed help, I had sh before, and I knew about the birds and the bees from a very young age (even tho I didn’t fully understand it I knew more than you’d think any 5 year old should know).

This is why I like modern catholicism, I'm enby and catholic, and all the people in my school and hence community accept me and all other lgbt+ kids. The community from my school's church has saved lives simply supporting the kids who weren't accepted at home. To me, that's true catholicism. Loving unconditionally, and giving a hand to those going through tough times.

About the guns, I find it ridiculous the way your country works, I understand self-defense, but the whole problem is that everyone can have gun. It's obvious that the way Americans think ab gun laws is different from the rest of the world. Child to have access to really dangerous weapon is not normal thing.

also, at 12 (technically younger too) I remember being like; "why tf don't I have a d!ck?" I never knew what a trans person was for years and even after I did I still never connected the dots bc I didn't know enough about them

100% agree. I’m lucky to be in a school where counselors and other staff openly state that their offices/classrooms are safe spaces for LGBTQ+ students but the prospect of confiding in them is still daunting to me 🥲 i hope queer kids everywhere eventually get the chance to safely explore their identities and develop support systems

Okay yeah overtime this would be a huge problem, BUT it is their child and they have every right because that is their religion, I say if you want to believe in something else and they let you then you are not being abused, but if they are persistently telling you that you are gonna go to hell that isn't right because they are placing fear in your head and it sounds cultish.

@@sunnyjohnson904 I've grown in a religion. Mom is highly religious then changed to another religion that respects the Bible more. In this current religion hell isn't a thing, but I'm forced to read, pray and hear her talk about the apocalypse nonstop and I have friends from other religions that are also dealing with a similar problem. It's their kid doesn't make it ok to force them into a religion. Let's not forget how whenever we have a physical problem or mental problem bc of them they blame us or force us to pray more saying we don't pray enough.. Tell me how this is ok.

@@lucas8141 It isn’t okay at all, lemme try to state what I meant in a better way, it is okay for you to take your children to church, it is not okay for you to forcefully take your children to church and tell them that they have to do so much for the religion. I think that is what I was trying to say and if it differs from my first comment this is what I believe as of now. Also the burn in hell for eternity is not okay to say to a child, it is demeaning and in no way creates love. -1 million/10 🤯 Just doesn’t make any sense, but if you are 18 leave the household and find what religion you want to believe in and then allow your children to choose as well. No one likes someone who can’t love someone because of their differences 🤗
