Commenting on 9:45 about food in “sketch” places. The best Mexican food I’ve had North of the border was in the town of Orange Cove, CA at a restaurant that looked plain on the outside, worn out inside, and had a restroom that should be on the EPA Superfund list. The food though was amazingly good.

Sounds like situation with the best Indian restaurants my Dad and I have encountered, which we always later discover got shut down for health code violations. In the case of the one at my uni the replacement charged more for smaller potions of worse food.

I believe the Michigan / Ohio hate started back around the Toledo war. Part of the settlement of the war with Michigan getting most of the Upper Peninsula. BTW around Metro Detroit the specific area your in seems to have a factor on the probability of driving a certain brand of car. Seeing a Ford explorer around the Dearborn area is around 99% in any given stretch of road.

I’m an American who just visited Canada, the meme is pretty accurate. Also I’m pretty sure they spelled Loonie and Toonie wrong (either that or the gift shops have horrible spelling)
