What split? They have clearly stated they are on hiatus. Dustin has mentioned in a recent Reddit AMA that a new tour with Thrice is definitely a possibility, a new album more like something we can only hope for.

Yes I have no sense of style because I'm not a hipster. You do realize the whole hipster "style" is intentionally being vintage and out of "style" though right bro? Not trying to be mean here but it's just kind of funny you call me an idiot and say that in the same comment. Teppei is an excellent guitarist and Thrice has made some albums I love, I just don't like their newer stuff. Get over it bro. You're a follower, somebody who follows a trend. Sorry but he never was that bad with it. Now he's totally going out of his way. Been a fan since before a lot of these kids who listen to them now a days were out of diapers for crying out loud. Dustin was always a bit of a fruitcake but Teppei never actively went out of his way to look that hipster. Come on he looks like a dude fighting for gay rights for asian people.
