The act of pooping could be world ending Originally streamed/recorded on January 5th, 2022 Editor: Jack Clishem / jackclishem Main Channel / jerma985 Twitch Stream: / jerma985
This video checks all of the boxes: - Fan having a weird dream about Jerma - Jerma laughing at car accidents - Jerma making weird noises instead of talking like a normal human being
Things the aliens understand: - Crossing the unfathomable gulfs of space between stars in vessels that can keep them alive amidst the cold vacuum either for centuries at a time or while travelling near to or faster than the speed of light - Some kind of advanced telescopes or radio signal detection to know that there is life to visit on Earth - Weapons that can level human civilization - Teleportation Things that frighten and confuse the aliens: - Putting inputs into a device to control things - Photography - Video - Refridgeration - Calendars - People using different words for the same concept - Sounds coming out of living things - Shitting - Plants - Rocks
they would have to count time using some blackhole since they wouldnt exactly have an accurate measure of time otherwise if they're hopping planets every once in a while where the rotational speed and fields are different, so yeah i think interstellar travel is less of a bother
jermas little talk-squeal when somebody mentions how fucked it would be to explain horror to an alien is fucking amazing, hes so relieved that somebody else is on the same wavelength as him
We can barely understand other mammals despite sharing most of our DNA with them. Aliens would come from a completely evolutionary line and in all likelyhood we would have nothing at all in common with them. People are laughing at Jerma, but we have no way to know what aliens will be like if contact is somehow ever made and the chances that they would understand us in any capacity and vice versa are extremely slim.
It's less that they're cavemen, and more that their technology, culture, and biology would be so different from us that they would have a lot of difficulty comprehending what we would consider normal.
Well he didn't know what technology was when he arrived on the planet. Others thought it was a suitable place to leave Jeremy behind, so they sneakily left to the next planet one night when he was being mesmorised by highway traffic.
I get it, it's just how foreign something looks to like an alien and being fascinated by all these things we sort of take for granted because it's so mundane to us
its totally possible that they develop entirely different technology from us and dont end up making nearly any similar creations. What if they dont have cars and just have hats that let you slow down time until you walk to where you need to go, or teleportation, or they could just not have mouths and communicate telepathically, meaning they never invented phones or any of the other inventions that resulted from our kind of verbal communication
I haven't been able to watch a jerma stream in years I was finally able to catch one and was excited to show my Japanese roommate my favorite American streamer when I clicked it he was shouting about bees and aliens and magic
It's interesting that you say the ability to make steel is magic. Apparently some early blacksmiths would put animal bones in their molten iron because they thought it was magic and made the metal stronger, when in reality they were making the metal stronger because adding carbon to iron essentially makes a crude form of steel.
On another planet, lifeform-985 explains to their fellow lifeforms that their basic technologies, such as the flingleshlop, would be considered magic to ailens. "They just wouldn't understand you can just sproink your gingle even though it's so common. Like you ask an ailen to sing and you just glibble and they freak tf out. Their head literally explodes."
I know right, like an alien race with spaceships and warp drives would be totally freaked out by LCD screens and plants and the concept of virtual entertainment Speaking of which what's with the "plants" thing? Does Jerma think an alien planet that supports life wouldn't have plants?
"I see miracles all around me Stop and look around, it's all astounding Water, fire, air and dirt Fucking magnets, how do they work?" -Jerma985, probably
As a young pre-teen, I sang the theme song of this game out loud in a Pizza Hut once, and the opening of this video immediately made me remember that day again. Only now I'm an adult and I can realize how cringy that actually was. Thanks for the memories, Jeremy.
Deranged lunatic plays roller coaster game for kids, instead falls deeper into a well of insanity by arguing that aliens will be shocked at the sight of chapstick
That rant was basically "what if aliens had no technology and had no concept of other beings and how stupid they are" how would then even get in contact with us if they didnt even have basic electronics? I wish i could see what went on in his demented mind
On one hand I think this is a bit, on the other I think Jerma's just not a very smart man or not very exposed to the line of thinking from sci-fi that explores these ideas in detail.
Holy shit! This is the game! I've been thinking about this game for a long while now and could never remember the name! I remember this game being very good... But that's what everyone says to games they played as a kid.
I was like "kids aren't like that" and then immediately started remembering moments from my childhood where I said random stuff I knew Also I would 100% support Jerma's boxing career if he started one Also Jerma's take about technology being magic is mindblowing This is now basically a thread for cool stuff I liked from this video
jesus 24:11 made me disassociate it’s been YEARS since I saw this weird chihuahua beat-em-up at a friends house, I never remembered the name of the game but this part always stuck out, and now I have to live with the fact that the person who helped me refind it is the SUS GUY himself
I'm pretty sure literally everything he said during that boxing meltdown is illegal and would make people wait in the parking lot outside the building to just beat him up.
@@endig4501 i’ve noticed that a lot of american streamers do that (and also think the uk isn’t a european country/the eu and europe are the same for some weird reason) what do they even teach you in school over there?
One of my first ever PC experiences was playing the thrillville beta disk that I got for free when I bought a pack of pokemon cards.. I remember how I actually thought the game looked amazing too. Simpler times..
I love how Jerma plays my childhood game and 1/4 of the video he shows how crazy advanced the world is and how aliens would react to what we have, what a wacky man.
