I think one thing that's hilarious is that she jumps into the river like it's a heroic sacrifice, when she could have just tossed the bomb into the river and stayed in the building. Her falling with the bomb wouldn't have done anything to lessen the explosion, and she could obviously toss it that far without a problem.

I feel like Mccarthy's entire career now is to literally cater to the Karens and other middle-aged women that laugh at pretty much anything relatable lol funny joke. Essentially she's the Lele Pons of the middle-aged moms. (hey that rhymed)

I really do feel bad for Octavia Spencer because she always gets caught up in really bad projects as a side character and has only had 1 good movie as a stand out role. That being Ma.

The only part I laughed is when the crab guy suddenly became seductive. I wasn’t laughing at the joke itself just the fact that it went from being a heist to a fat girls fantasy of dancing with a crab guy. Me and my dad named the crab guy “Larry the seductive crab”

When I watched this comedy film I only laughed 3 times: when the bar owner strung out a pointless analogy, Crab Man crabwalking away (maybe I'm a little biased 'cause I love Jason Bateman), and something that had to do with Hammer's death bc it was stupid. In conclusion, everything was stupid. And Spencer's acting was pretty stale in this. Also, good sociopaths exist?? Why did they make it seem like only evil ppl could be miscreants when they said sociopaths? You could've made Hammer a sociopath so she gains super strength, & Bingo stopped being her friend out of prejudice against miscreants ("She's the same breed as those who killed my parents, they're all evil/crazy" blah blah blah).

I like how in all the reviews of this dumpsterfire, the only time people genuinely laughed was when this movie ripped off Zoidberg's retreat

Despite how bad this movie may be, I have to say that I’m proud of Melissa McCarthy for losing the weight she has and keeping it off. Sure, she’s still overweight or whatever, but she’s lost a substantial amount.
