Leker lite med kissen i lössnön nere i Erikslund. Nu ska motorn uppdateras för sessong 2009.... Kanske går att hitta några små hk till i maskinen. Triboron i oljetanken ger mycket tillfredställande egenskaper
My dad had. 1999 thundercat brand new up until a few years ago when he sold it, but mods on it geared it down, ripsaw track, studs, all kinds of clutch work and air intake mods. 174 hp stock and when he sold it it had 206 hp. Love Thundercats or ZRT's, best sleds of all time! Nice machine!
This video really makes me miss the '01 that I had. I went from a Polaris xlt 600 to a T-Cat. It was a bit terrifying at first. They really do stand up like that well up to 80mph, even stock
Nothing sounds better than those old big triple/triple sleds. I remember back when the 1000 came out and all the older guys around our local lake had them fitted with Black Magic pipes and you could feel the ground shake when they fired them up, such a distinct sound (especially screaming across the lake on a cold night) You can keep your 4 stroke.
Id just like to thank all the manufactures out there for never building a better sled since 2002. I have never had to buy new since 2002. Even now for 2014 there is still nothing more interesting to me than a Thundercat. Manufactures have saved me over 50,000 dollars. All I have to do is keep my 2002 T-CAT and I still have better looks, better sound and more comfort. New sleds absorb bumps better but you have to lean to keep them upright, suspension comfort means lost hp at the track and high center of gravity for the rider and for the riding I do I just want to sit on my seat not stand and bang trails. T-Cat is a better ride for my style of driving. Thank You Arctic Cat, Polaris, Yamaha, and Ski-doo for staying away from this market. Its your loss obviously and my gain, Thankyou.
Exotic Creature I keep saving money. I still wont buy anything but a Thundercat. Indy 650 was a great sled too. The new stuff is way too tippy. My friends wife almost died trapped under her sled because it tipped over on her just stopped on a slant and it tipped. Center of gravity is complete sht on that new stuff. Older sleds were cooool. This new stuff looks like your riding a horse. Nice and comfy but not cool and very awkward to drive on slants. My buddy got rid of his new stuff and his wife will only drive the old indy chassis from 89 up to 97 or so. Likes the 650 the best as it stays planted and for short rides its a cool sled to be on. Most people I know just do short runs. Sure long runs the suspension is tiring but ask custom bike makers if comfort is always priority or does a cool factor have a place over comfort.
Yeahhh its à 2 stroke :) the pipes har custom made by my self ! Trippel pipes and just 1 colector in the end 3,2" :) did give the most power and torq over all rpm :)
love those Tcats! I bought a '00 three years ago that spent all of its life in a garage after being used for two seasons in NY. to this day it now has 668 original miles and it is a Head Turner!!! people stop me on the road and ask me to sell it but I just say No Thanks!!
When you get use to that cat triple sound . Nothing else will ever satisfy your ears .been wanting to upgrade to something newer and better handling but just can't do it .the day I get too old to handle one of the big cat triples . Will be the day I never ride sled again . Love them triples
@thundercatrquw Yea, your sled looks and sounds awesome. Love those thundercats, too bad I cant find one in prime condition and still tuned like yours. Oh well, keep the vids coming bro!
Can't decide if I want to buy a thundercat or an f7 this summer. Want the f7 for its lightness and being able to jump but the thundercats are so dam fast
If you like sick and nasty two stroke power the smokey old 1 liter suzuki still shuts down everything without a hairdrier or a bottle. My 1000 has dial a dome with some lake race porting, PSI modblaster pipes, v force. 200 hp pump gas, big torque. 10 years old & making apex's run for cover. Going big bore big next year with 84mm top end. hope to get close to 220hp !
i have a 96 thundercat 1400 triple and i have blown several ignition coils and cant seem to get it down any ideas on where to find an ignition coil that wont blow on it?
no he really needed them tcats r stupid fast and with all of those studs the sled would shit and get!! especially out on the lakes befor the studs when u gunned it the track would spin alot
@misterdestiny17 It's pure triple aweomeness and power are only mached by it's thirst for petrolium. But guess what, you don't buy a classic Camaro for it user friendly gas millage.
Did you see when the owner of the sled took a video of the other guy riding his sled that he never put the camera on him at all kind of a bullshit move like hey look at me look at me but no I'm not going to video my buddy I'll just point the camera at the ground
sorry. i had many cats and over all they just bite. least the 80s 90s ones did. i like sleds that just rock and u don't need to work on them alot cuz they are well made.
