@@Blodler True but nonetheless I see Heir still great overall.

Heir is, it’s what I used for my solo run. Theoretical max dps is interesting, but max survival dps so you aren’t vulnerable at the end of the phase matters more to me.

Was thinking same but 320ish bullets used + crit damage number 5043 is roughly 1600000, that's not including damage from lightning strikes so looks right

when going down the stairs too... weird

the lightning strikes can hit a non-moving target a lot better and those contribute a lot to the overall damage

Game struggles to show the damage of thunderlord cause it's DPS gets so high. It's the in-game visuals lagging behind.

As a avid thunderlord enjoyer that is basically just a visual bug cause the game can't keep up with the damage of a fully spun up TL

If I remember good, Forerunner with Mechaneer Tricksleeve was higher but I could be wrong

Whisper is top currently I believe. Sleeper just behind that.

L take. 300k damage difference is a lot. 3 damage phases you losing just under 1 mil. This is a big difference.

I haven't really had issues with clearing ads because that's something I always do before starting the damage phase. That being said, Heir Apparent isn't a bad choice, and I can definitely understand using it over Thunderlord if you are just doing it for fun and aren't trying to go completely optimal

It's always smarter to play it safe. I'd rather do an extra damage phase than die and have to restart. I'm pretty impressed by Heir here. Also, having a permanent overshield allows you to play a bit more recklessly in this fight in particular. When playing solo, I spend a couple of minutes clearing harpies and making sure only one minatour is alive before starting the damage phase on this boss. I could probably all but ignore the ads if I used Heir. For less experienced players who might not have all the Exotic options at their disposal this could be useful.

Nope. 3x solar surge for heir and 3x arc surge for thunderlord.

The Thunderlord periodically spawns lightning strikes on the enemy

Thunderlord rpm dps gets so high when fully spun up that the damage on the health bar lags behind. It happens on any boss but it's just in-game image trying to keep up.

@@Blodler what's a sure-fire way to kill the eyes, that's the only problem I'm having ATM for a solo run. I'm on Playstation so I don't have the precision like M&K does

In that case you just use a healing grenade before the end of the phase. I just did this test for the maximum damage that you can get in one phase.

Div has 15% debuff so no it’s not bugged

@@dabtasticcharizard9817 I’ll agree with this statement. I can get the same reloading effect as this video on a warlock with a div, it does need to get to higher rpm’s first though so I’m usually floating around 35-40 in the mag if the cage stays up.

Absolutely, it seems to be something with the lightning strikes occurring more often as whenever I'm shooting a div bubble it never drops mag and often goes back up again thanks to the catalyst. That never happens normally, you just lose ammo a bit slower
