Cataclysmic + Witherhoard vs Akelous | Still King Of DPS?? 

While doing my solo flawless cat turned out to better because while sleeper does more damage per shot (127k solar surge x3+radiant/well), the passive damage that you get from witherhoard is invaluable and I could close akeloos 1-2 phases earlier than sleeper.

Sleeper is indeed really strong but I think the biggest reason to use wither plus a legendary is that u don’t have to sacrifice ur exotic for just boss damage, witherhoard can also be used through the game and in more content than just dps. It’s good dps it’s good ad control, it melts hydras, etc. yes sleeper is a MUST HAVE and is probably better for just damage but wither is just more versatile but hey that’s just my opinion, I typically don’t use my power weapon for anything but boss damage

One is enough. You have to be in combat for the buff at least for 12 sec. Being in combat means: dealing or receiving damage in the last 5 sec. That’s the only thing that matters.

Rewind rounds is also super good imo 6 to 3, 3 to 2, 2 to 1 reload repeat

Might be confusing but shoot six get three and then it continues

The best choices are forerunner with mechaneer, Whisper, Witherhoard + linears, Leviathan’s breath. But I’m working on a spreadsheet to summarize all the videos

Good question 🤔 with the normal solar hunter combo you can still get the 2+ mill I think. With the kinetic bug your heavy will not have 3x surge (-22% dmg) so i dont know If it’s better or not

@@Blodler Kinetic Booster wouldn't boost Heavy Weapon, but seasonal Artifact on a Taipan could? Kinetic Booster Bug could boost Witherhoard and Golden Gun. You'd lose Tractor Cannon buff but... Anyways, what "normal Hunter" build are you using for 2 million damage?

If you have the catalyst for witherhoard It will give the weapon auto loader perk

I had 5 charges. When the counter went to zero it consumed one charge. So I still had 4 x 20 sec charge

Bait and switch is a 35% damage increase compared to focused fury’s 20%, so you’re getting significantly more total damage out of bait and switch. Dps with bait and switch is also significantly higher especially if you’re already weapon swapping with something like witherhoard or izanagi.

Still ends dps with 11 more shorts it’s better ammo wise tho

@thomash8513 you won't have a damage phase in which whisper runs out of ammo and heavy bricks are free now.

@@michaelbarber3125 cataclysmic is still more ammo efficient this is also without a debuff it’s doing close to what sleeper’s doing per shot but u get 10 shots but also that’s exactly that’s y whisper’s not good most dps phases aren’t long enough cataclysmic ur doing more or less the same dmg in a shorter amount of time and u have space to mess up if u fuck up a shot with whisper ur fucked

@thomash8513 don't miss your shots and whisper will be better :). Ammo efficiency doesn't matter this season.
