Tilley Lamp - Fitting SP1 service pack and lighting 

This was excellent. The fault is exactly what I am experiencing with my Tilley lamp. A very helpful video. I would have liked to have seen how you put the components back in real time instead of fast forward. Well done and thanks very much.

Thanks, storms here needed to use mine and it wouldn't work so a service will be needed.

A good informative video well done ...but instead of talking through the re assembly of the pump/controls/vapouriser controls and at the end lighting... some crappy music is played why ?

Thank you so much..a fab instructional video.. I've recently acquired an X246B. in brand new condition... pretty much unused... it's stamped on the underside 275 and identical to the one you fitted new seals to..apart from mine has a red vessel...the wife has already ordered me a new set of SP1 seals..a new lighting torch and mantels... as regular camper's the new addition to our kit will be the new No1... I'm looking forward to doing the clean and Refurb on the Tilley..and of course it's first fire up in years.... keep safe and thanks again for your brill info..kind regards Dave..

my lamp is just like yours, I'm having trouble finding the right mantle for it, could you tell me where to get one and how to fit it thanks for the video it is great.

Is it a bad sign if the valve shaft is loose and pulls in/out?
