His questions were actually good. If you are even a slightly bad journalist you will get torn apart by them. Watch how badly they give it to "What's Trending", but one of the guys interviewing them is a total bitch.
I love Tim and Eric and they changed my life at an early age. Now I'm a better person because of it and it's one of those things that doesn't get tainted as the world gets more and more awful around us.
You should check out Marc Maron when he interviewed Tim and Eric in his podcast, they were serious in that one also and talked about their life and how they started.

Wow, after a rough 5 minutes the interviewer passes the test and gets some real answers out of Timeric - I don't think anyone else has. Very well done, much respect for a great interview.
The more I deal with shitty people in this world, the more I understand how/why Tim Heidecker has that streak that demands respect… He could EASILY be underestimated as an idiot, etc… but he knows what the F he is doing, and he has to fight for his respect in the industry.

You can see they actually started taking the interview seriously around 8 minutes in which says a lot about the interviewer. They are usually just ironic the whole time.
Jesse Thorn is a legit good interviewer. He does a show called Bullseye on NPR nowadays and if you want something considerably less serious, check out Jordan Jesse Go!, a podcast on Maximum Fun.
No one bashes viewers of family guy, the host merely pointed out the difference between the shows and the unlikelihood that someone would appreciate FG and TnE. Calling FG base and referential isn't necessarily a criticism. Family Guy is a fucking awful show though, so whatever!
The Zune was an amazing piece of hardware, and I loved that, with their subscription, you were able to get a certain amount of free songs, each month, to own permanently.

Wow this is truly amazing, Tim, Eric, and the interviewer - you guys rock! Though try to use less filler words such as "um" and "uh". It takes away from the entrancing tales.

Great job on the interviewer's part. He acted in a way that Tim and Eric were comfortable with. I like that they answered questions seriously with their comedy stuck in there.
