Lol as a Englishman I found this hilarious. When we go to America, we can’t believe the vast quantity of food and how cheap it is. What’s considered a food challenge in England, is a main dish in America. Can’t wait to see Tim in London.
Lol Tim, I'm Welsh but live in Canada and Sunday Roasts are the besssttttt!!! Always love my Sunday dinner! In Wales its a leg of lamb with mash, parsnips, cabbage, dark gravy and mint sauce on the side to top the dinner as you please 😍😍👏👌💯 ah-mazing! Lol
Probably just different pallates lol. I find roast a little too tasteless but I'll eat steak all day. Although i do enjoy lamb but nothing can be a steak
Would be an entertaining show seeing Tim travel across the UK trying all the regional dishes. I agree the Sunday roast is a bit overrated but I refuse to tolerate anyone scoffing at a full English breakfast from a decent greasy spoon.
@@Smackyabitchupshitlips Yeah, and it has to be at a dodgy cafe where they still use spit to clean the grill. Figuratively at least. I can't be doing with fancy English breakfasts with posh sausages and granary bread personally. But maybe I'm just common muck.
Lmfao, nice try... his ancestors came from ireland? I got news for you...irish are brits. Not to mention even Irish food is better than food in England. British food is absolutely disgusting and your country just needs to accept it and stop fighting it. You will never compare to Italy, Greece, Spain, Poland or even Germany quite frankly. Stop pretending you are on their level.
Britain has good food but it’s Indian food and food from other cultures like the best American food is Italian, Mexican, Brazilian, French and so on. We both have similar garbage food like Chicken wings, mozerella slicks and Britain has blood sausage.
British curry is the best food ever if you ask me. Tikka masala. Vindaloo. But then I am Bri-ish…Never been to the US but I know the food is 🔥. Mexican food. 🤤
@@lamenamethefirst We made it. 💁🏼♂️ It’s a take on British Indian Vindaloo that’s different. India was British India during the 15th century, there was no India. It was a part of the British Empire. It’s not the exact same thing that was there at the time. Modern Vindaloo is different. Tikka Masala? Scottish dish. How you can claim otherwise I don’t know. 🤷🏼♂️ Definitely not Indian.
@@angrybrit7331 Translation's wasted on them. Its their fault that McDonalds only serve a "Fee-lay" of fish. To call them rabid, illiterate tossers is probably a bit strong, nevertheless, it is what springs to mind whenever America's abuse of our beautiful language is the topic.
im from UK and can agree about sunday roast, its shit, so is most of our ''food''. However, our cakes, snacks and sweets are much better than what is in the US
Nah man, a good pub carvery roast is the greatest. Selection of roast meats, herbed and buttered veg, Yorkshire pudding, gravy, hot English mustard and/or horseradish and/or mint sauce, roast potatoes crispy on the outside and creamy in the middle, couple of pints and then its Monday. I do miss the old country on a Sunday.
@@w8m4n You shouldn't invent a massive amount of modern civilization, live around the corner for Italy, and then serve the breakfast they do. Their slimy vomit inducing bacon, and awful baked beans were horrific. Eating decent fried fish doesn't compare to the rest of modernized society. I've been to some complete shitholes in South America that blows away anything in England for food.
If he were human, he’d gag. British food is horrible. That’s why the national food is now curry. In London, ONLY eat Indian curry or Chinese. Period. Do not eat anything British. Except bitters. Get sloshed on that.
Roast beef for sunday is delicious. Only somebody with no taste would say something like Tim has said. It is like saying fish is not nice. Cornish Pasty and Shepherd's pie are delicious. Apple pie is beautiful with Cornish clotted cream. Cottage cheese is also another food that is delicious. Ice cream is another thing that is a British national food.
Bro you realize that its a joke and he knows different nations have different palates. Everything you just described to me sounds not that good. I'm sure it probably is and I'm sure if I was raised there I would love it. But the US has some pretty phenomenal food options because we take ideas from other nations and pump them with salt, butter, peppers and onions.
I was disagreeing until he admitted no other country tries to poison you like the US. It is true, most of the food there is awful but sometimes it is a special kind of awful.
@@bighands69 I'm from Europe. Been all over. Born in Ireland and currently live in Spain. I also spent a year in the States - objectively, American food is generally garbage. I couldn't shit right for a year until I came home and ate proper fruit and vegetables. It all tastes the same - this bland, kind of dusty flavour, and the horror of nonsensical combinations like marshmallow and sweet potato, or syrup and bacon. Why? The only decent food I ate was oddly enough in Austin, as surprise surprise, their Mexican food is incredible.
@@sayno2lolzisback My comments look to have been deleted so there is no point really commenting around here were there is snowflakes that cannot handle it. Obviously not talking about you.

Chinese and Indian food is more popular than fish n' chips over here.. we're ignorant about a fair few things but no one I know shares any of these misconceptions
And what about their "English Breakfasts"? Highly overrated....But what do you expect from a country that fries its Mars Bars and serves deep fried fish in newspapers with vinegar sauce.....Although they are on to something with their Sunday Roasts and Yorkshire Pudding...Got great beers as well....Thank God for their influx of immigrants who brought with them decent food.....
But American KFC sucks . So does the chocolate and potato chips. Chinese takeaway is superior in the UK also. Nothing like a good Sunday roast with roast beef, roast potatoes and gravy. I still eat that and I’ve lived in the US for 22 years
I love Tim but he obviously hasn't spent that much time around British people. Kim Kardashian is certainly not idolised in England, most see America in general as a sick joke.
@@scottv9667 Nearly half of America voted for Trump, terrifying.. The storming of the capitol, the riots and the media coverage was hilarious. America is just revered for it's entertainment.. everything else is a joke, still entertaining but a joke
@@puppyinacupmashups4731 Plenty of great things about the USA. I love their comedy (Patrice O Neal, Carlin, Hicks etc), their art (Rothko, Basquiat, De Kooning etc) but their politics and ignorance is a different level to all other countries. They seem to think the world revolves around them. It doesn't.
Americans have food from all around the world. It's the most diverse place in the world. Turn your British brains on. Your national food isn't the best and you know it
We English can take banter about our food but Sunday Roasts and the Full English are untouchable. Once you have a good proper Sunday Roast you will understand your blasphemy
Jesus Christ Tim could literally use his stomach as a table too eat a mc Donald’s 😂 how does he sleep with other men there’s no way he can clean down there
@@Straumnes "So where was apple pie invented? The first written apple pie recipe goes back to 1381 in England. It was printed by Geoffrey Chaucer and included apples, figs, raisins, pears and a pastry shell (but no sugar)." If your going to be smug be correct first. Nice try though.
@@ibiza1290 Yeah, you didn't totally make that up at all. Also, how do you not know the difference between the possessive "your" and the conjunction "you're"? Like how do you enter adulthood as a native English speaker and not know the difference between them? :\ How embarrassing.
