Tim gets a request from his cousin and visits his stepmother in Long Island. From episode 232: • #232 - Andrew Schulz |... Bonus episodes every week at / thetimdillonshow
It feels like he's yelling at my family, which makes me feel good. I would love for my fat rich gay friend to come roast the shit out of my family at a Holiday dinner
Tim Dillion is an uncle that you wish you had, so you could go up to his house to ask about what he is up to, and hear him ramble on for hours about some bullshit topics. What a stress free life that would be.
@@Bear-pw7nu everyone in a family thinks that there family is the problem in their life, not realizing the impact their selfishness has on their family
Dude. That’s literally my holiday get-togethers. People with undiagnosed drinking problems and family members I’ve never met speaking in the loudest Spanglish known to humanity.
Agreed, plus even if he just serves as a "laugh track" or to occasionally respond briefly to something Tim says, that role is vital bc it means Tim gets to play to an audience of one every episode, if he's trying to get Ben to laugh, he'll prob make the rest of us laugh too. Not to mention, solo podcasts can be incredibly boring or get tiresome, even if the host is otherwise incredibly entertaining. #TeamBen
On Whitney Cummings latest podcast with Tim, he said he’d burn everyone alive in the room to save Ben hahahah. He is a wonderful asset to the show 😂 every time he cackles aloud, I lose it
These 2 are brilliant Tims eccentric dark humor with Ben's introverted personality contrast so well... No fake laughter no bullshit Straight comedy gold
All joking aside I think Ben is the perfect Fit for the Show, given how dominating of a presence Tim is he can't really have a co-Host and I think Ben is a Good Pulse for Tim on what is working and what isn't. Generally when he laughs, I Iaugh and I can tell Tim is picking up on that
I dropped watching JRE for Tim Dillon podcast when he went to Spotify and was required to wear an earpiece with lawyer telling him what he can or can’t say.
If you ever go to a crazy family's house, there is always one young kid that is always in the background, making sure the house doesn't burn down. Those are the kids that if they are lucky and break apart from their family, then they best hard working type people.
I love this show. I love Tim. I love the new set. I heard of Tim for the first time in like April and he’s instantly become my favorite comedian and podcast. Ben is the freaking cherry on top that makes it truly great
My grandma does this type of stuff to me with the veiled insults. I had to move in with family after my breakup and my grandma goes "Well, Josh. It's too bad you can't just go to treatment!" Really, Grandma? It's too bad that I'm not drinking daily and using drugs anymore... so I no long qualify to be locked in a facility, putting my life on hold. Instead I'm moving in with my family where I can get a job and get back on my feet. It's too bad I'm not locked up in a medical facility for a problem I don't have. Yup, Granny. It's just too bad!
Tim is hysterical. The bit in the beginning about being beat down. That’s me. My coworkers beat me down constantly. Feel like an abused dog. Ever go to pet an abused dog and they think they are gonna be hit? Yeah that’s me. Blue collar building trades. Def paid my dues.
Just realized a big part of Tim’s humor is in his style of delivery that’s like The Office where characters turn to the camera after saying something nice and then turning to the camera to tell the truth to the audience like telling a secret to a friend.
My family is the same Tim! It sucks! Never a word of support or encouragement and an avalanche of the opposite in a sea of side-eyed stares. Don't let them get to you friends. Survival is key. When going in you gotta think like a linebacker. 😆
It's cool to know that even those we look up to have messed up families like us. I still feel weird because it seems like everyone has at least one person in their family with some money. Even his dad and stepmom figured out how to get a large house. Not one person in my family has anything of monetary value or the wherewithal to obtain it.
I'm listening to Tim, but I'm watching Ben. Definitely a lot more than just a laugh track. No shot that the podcast would be the same without him. Anyone can edit video, not anyone can be your best friend and bring real human energy and relatability to a room.
Since my grandma died my holidays have never been the same. I had no idea she was the glue that held our family together. Now everybody hates everybody.
The state of "familiy" life in our modern western world is an absolute tragedy. Anything you don't actively take care of and nurture withers away, that's just entropy. The fact we give it so little value is not good for anyone, just look at how we treat the elderly. A damn shame.
