My wife and I had the pleasure of hanging out with Tim for a few days in Virginia Beach back in 04 with Iced Earth and Tim was the nicest guy ever. He took the time to talk to everyone who approached him. Great guy and awesome vocalist!

I liked Ripper from the start - when halford left I couldn't understand why he would do that - then here comes Ripper and he sounds better than halford-, so I was on ripper's side from the start
