@shoplifter101 That would be a valid point...except the thing w/ Kyrie is that he apparently clarified his stance and stated he has no problem w/ the vaccine (feels it's safe, etc) and is just not taking it because he says he's standing up for who he feels are the voiceless (those that do not want to get vaccinated but want to keep their jobs). SAS's point is if that is the case, due to Kyrie's platform, he can still take the vaccine (that he says he's comfortable with) and still speak up for those people without abandoning his team (the team he practically put together because they accepted his call to play w/ him and who have all taken their vaccinations). When you put all this into consideration, and consider Kyrie's history with previous teams...and the fact that he's still getting paid $17M's this year to simply stay home (thats just this year and it's still only 50% of his annual salary)... it becomes clear that Kyrie does what he wants to do because he can because he's already paid (even if they release him); and it reinforces SAS's point that if it wasn't the vax, history shows that Kyrie can't be trusted and would be a distraction and beefing about something else.

But as Tebow went on to say, based on his short tenure with the Jags this year, he has firsthand knowledge about the protocols in place in regards to proving vaccination. The team and the league would’ve absolutely known whether he was vaccinated or not when the season started, let alone now in Week 8. So I think we can accurately say SAS changed his mind. Only thing that could come out now to change how this looks is if Rodgers gave falsified documents to the Packers or the Packers lied to the league about his vaccination status so he didn’t have to jump through any extra hoops.

No, Tebow just had a masterclass on how to be an objective adult. Tebow is just defending a friend, SAS is analyzing the situation based on the facts that have come out so far. If the NFL and the coaches were duped by Rodgers, then his position still stands. That could be the case if Rodgers provided a fake vax card, or if his personal doctor mislead the team and the NFL on purpose, or if they took Rodgers for his word because of the special privileges some players get. If it is exposed that the NFL and the coaches knew about his status and actively covered up the situation because of the aforementioned “special privileges” some players get, then SAS stated he would change his position because the facts of the case are no longer the same.
